Insight: The Weeknd and Florence + the Machine (Esoteric Videos detailing the Occult)

If your eyes have been opened to consciousness then you can close your physical eyes & still see everything; but if your eyes have been closed to consciousness then you'll open your eyes all the time and see nothing. I personally have an eye out for the occult because I'm not symbol illiterate as most people have been trained to be. We can literally walk by something that's in plain sight all of the time and notice nothing uniquely strange, and it could be staring at you, right in your face. On this post I've taken the liberty to mention 2 music videos.

Bear in mind that in no way am I implying that these videos are satanic or conspiratorial in nature, but I do notice the symbolism and fine details that make them more then just visual aids for the song.

The Weeknd - The Knowing: This is the official video of Canadian singer Abel Tesfaye which featured on the mixtape House of Balloons' as the closing track, The Knowing. The video opens with a baffling prologue set in Ethiopia in the 1970s, and then it becomes a time-travelling odyssey that blasts the viewer to a planet called Ethia X in 16311 AD. If you think this video is about a girl who broke his heart then your not getting the deeper message.

Florence + the Machine: is different from most singers for several reasons. First, there is obvious talent and artistry involved in her works, making them more profound than most pop songs out there. Second, there is a definite occult influence in her music but it is not hidden or concealed, for me it is all too apparent in this video entitled "Shake It Out"

This video tells the story of an initiation ritual in a strange secret society, taking place in a strange masquerade ball with masked guests – reminiscent of the secret society orgy in the movie “Eyes Wide Shut”. One of the masked characters strikingly resembles Hypnos, the Greek god of sleep - from which the term "hypnosis" comes from. I won't say more...

Our World is Changing...quickly (faster then the speed of light)

Detectors at the Italian National Institute of Nuclear Physics' Gran Sasso Laboratory have measured neutrinos traveling faster than the speed of light; from the CERN physics center on the French-Swiss border, more than 450 miles away.

It was Einstein’s theory of special relativity, proposed in 1905, that stated that nothing in the universe can travel faster than the speed of light in a vacuum. But researchers at the CERN lab near Geneva claim they have recorded neutrinos, a type of tiny particle, travelling faster than the barrier of 186,282 miles (299,792 kilometers) per second.

Antonio Ereditato, spokesman for the researchers at CERN, said: “We have high confidence in our results. We have checked and rechecked for anything that could have distorted our measurements but we found nothing.” Scientists agree if the results are confirmed, that it would force a fundamental rethink of the laws of physics. John Ellis, a theoretical physicist, said Einstein’s theory underlies “pretty much everything in modern physics”.

The results have so astounded researchers that American and Japanese scientists have been asked to verify the results before they are confirmed as a discovery. We lived in a universe that was explained by theories...correct me if I'm wrong, but it was called THE THEORY of Relativity, which doesn't in my opinion make Einstein out to be a scientist who believed in absolutes. Theories are just that...there meant to be broken by factual occurances that render all of our previous findings faulty. I for one do not find these sorts of discoveries dishearetening, but encouraging. It took 100 years for man to go from a horse and buggy to walking on the moon; why shouldn't it take just as long for man to prove that there is no absolute limit on speed.

Mysterious glowing tide turns Californian coastline into a neon blue alien landscape

Apparently this is a natural phenomena caused by a chemical reaction called bioluminescence, which happens when a naturally-occurring micro-organism in the water is disturbed, causing a chemical reaction which emits light. The reaction is similar to the ‘glow’ that fireflies use to attract prey or mates. Many undersea organisms ‘glow’, especially creatures that live at depths where light from the surface is less likely to penetrate (just the sort of nerdy stuff that I find fascinating).

This spellbinding sight was captured at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas, California, yesterday. The night-time glow is a side-effect of blooming red algae, known as red tide, which can turn entire beaches scarlet and murky during the day. The smell of decay, caused by rotting kelp, plankton and fish often accompanies the event as the red algae starves the water of oxygen and light. By night, there is an increase in microscopic plankton called dynoflagellates, which glow in the dark when disturbed by currents or waves.

Ouroboric Art: has something to do with "Occultation"

This is an old knocker on an even older door in a street called Le Vieux-Mans in France. It was a picture sent to me by a friend who lives there and he knew that I'd take an interest in it. It's from a remote district on a Gallo-Roman wall in the area. I've always known about the "Oroborus" symbol and it has deep (long forgotten) meanings.

An Ouroboros is a drawing of a snake or a dragon-snake which bites it's own tail. It's etymological root can be found in the old Greek ουροβοροs, which was later latinized and spelled as "uroborus" which also means "that which bites the tail".

The early christians saw the ouroboros as a symbol of cyclic time and continuity of life. In alchemy, the ouroboros was seen as a purifying seal. It symbolized the eternal unit of all things, the incarnating cycle of life (birth) and death.

But it has a much much deeper meaning and history...

Ancient Astronaut Theory or God's Pantheon of divine beings who administer the Cosmos?

The Ancient Astronaut theorists have compiled a wonderful tapestry of questions (and not many answers). All of these questions steeped in the most ancient of mysterious; and they've attributed the origin of these mysteries to nothing other than extraterrestrials from either another planet or another dimension. If this sounds a little far-fetched to you, your not alone, because like most people you've relegated these mysteries as unsolvable, or you've left such questions answerable only by those who are into Archeology.

The Ancient Astronaut theorists delve into the mysteries of these ancient architectural achievements, but they don't do it using science alone like Archaeologists do; there using sacred religious texts and the stories from legends and myths to give them justifiable weight in the arena of public opinion. Now how does that make their theories justifiable truth? It's safe to say that there are still greater numbers of adherents to religion than there are adherents to science, no matter how secular our world has gotten. Ancient Astronaut theory in my opinion strikes the sheppard to scatter the sheep. Sheep who have already begun to question their faith in God, and now they can find something more physical to latch on to, an alien being (the Annunaki) who according to Sumerian text descended from the heavens and gave primitive man a head start on civilization.

Daniel 4:17: "This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men."

To me...Ancient Astronaut Theory uses passages like the one shown above from the Bible to support it's theories. I can already see how religion will combat these claims by simply claiming that these extraterrestrial beings are themselves either demons or angels, working within the divine council or hierarchy of God. Religious ideologues will always be able to say that God created the alien even if the alien tampered with man, and to that there will be no defence until of course an alien ship lands down on this planet declaring to all who would believe that they are in fact the gods that we have always believed in. Until then this entire discussion about whether it was Aliens or God is all conjecture and fanciful story-telling at best.

I will say this about ancient astronaut theory, I do love how it challenges earth's timeline of history, how it digs to find evidence that debunks long held claims in both Archeology and History (that the Pyramid of Giza was a tomb, which I don't happen to believe is true). Our textbooks on history are an out-dated propaganda and there are so many loose ends that have been considered legitimate means to an end. So in my opinion it's healthy to inject good questioning into the debates that have long had it's doors closed by orthodoxy. The findings at Puma Punku we're amazing. The precision stone cutting abilities of the Inca found at Puma Punku merit more investigation. The painting by artist Carlo Crivelli in the year 1486 entitled "The Annunciation" was a remarkable old world illustration of a UFO. The Piri Reis Map caught my attention also (not because I thought aliens gave them the aerial precision with which to make such a map) but because I've always thought that man was smarter than the current timeline of history would give him credit for.

A beat CD entitled "My Drunken Universe", and it's going to feature artists from around the world. A Book I'm Reading: Sacred Drift - by Peter Lamborn Wilson (aka Hakim Bey)

Hakim Bey (born Peter Lamborn Wilson in 1945), is an American political writer, essayist, and poet. He did extensive traveling in the Middle East, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India and Nepal. He studied Tantra in West Bengal and visited many Sufi shrines and masters. In 1971 he undertook research on the Ni'matullahi funded by the Marsden Foundation of New York. Bey has written essays on such diverse topics as Tong traditions, the utopian Charles Fourier, the fascist Gabriele D'Annunzio, alleged connections between Sufism and ancient Celtic culture, sacred pederasty in the Sufi tradition, technology and Luddism, and Amanita muscaria use in ancient Ireland. An interesting author to me.

I've embedded below a lecture by Mr Wilson wherein he discusses the art of Sufi traveling. He focuses on travel in the world of Islam, discussing the history of nomadic travel and tradition. He relates several anecdotes about scholar Ibn Arabi and recites a Sufi traveling song. He continues his discussion on nomads followed by a brief talk about the travels of French poet Arthur Rimbaud. He ends the lecture by discussing the future of travel in general which I found fascinating.

NHARO: Home to Indigenous Art (Www.Nharo.com)

I was on the Danforth (543 Danforth Ave) in Toronto earlier today and I came across a gem in the city that sells Indigenous Art from all across Africa, with a uniqueness to specific cultures that they trade with exclusively for items that you wouldn't typically find in a store of similar fashion. NHARO just seemed to carry items that were crafted, carved and woven by master artisans, and the quality spoke to me.

The customer service was phenomenal (her name was Irene) she was extremely friendly and rendered historical information about the pieces, there qualities and materials, I was impressed and enlightened about what I was buying.

You walk in and immediately you see this mother and child.

You step in and your eyes dart around the place, the art is phenomenal.

Almost Life Like Quality

The piece that interested me was a piece carved by the Shona of Zimbabwe, more specifically carved by an artisan named Gabriel Tigere Tandi of Zimbabwe, its made of Serpentine stone. She's made in the likeness of a Zulu Warrior, her head dress conveys a status. The material is a very hard stone that's confirmed to come from a 6 million year old quarry of mountain stone. It's absolutely phenomenal!

Matt O'Brien: a native of Hamilton Ontario (that's Steel City - in CANADA) and he's a consummate music producer, song writer and artist who I think is poised to do great things for the Canadian Music scene and for Hip Hop in general. La SAPE: A society of Africans in France devoted to high fashion

This is a documentary detailing the lifestyle of Africans who've subscribed to the high fashion sensationalism of famed Congolese musician Papa Wemba; who first started La SAPE (An Acronym for the "Société Ambianceurs et Persons Élégants" which means "Society of Ambiance and Elegant People") first launched back in the Congo in the 1970's. Those who subscribe to this lifestyle are called "Sapeur" and these men would rather starve than look poor lol. To some, these people are fashion victims who've forsaken priorities and succumb to criminal activities to maintain their lavish lifestyles. To others they are regarded as rock stars who can be seen roaring through the Congo on mopeds in 1,000 dollar suits, and to some people they inspire self-determination, to at least look good.

In France...

These young men are also known as ”les Parisiens” – and they are a cultural affront to the older Congolese generation, who speak of ”authenticity,” anti-colonialism and Marxism. For the , the only ”ism” to follow is narcissism. And his manifesto is the society pages of glossy French-language publications like Africa Elite and Jeune Afrique. These publications breathlessly chronicle what they call ”le Paris black,” or Parisian black society. Paparazzi snap Africa’s beautiful people dining at African restaurants like Le Fouta Toro, Le Sakkara and Le Dogon – or dancing at African nightclubs. These spots, which have existed for decades, have recently become chic with the growth of an affluent African bourgeoisie. So to some people the Sapeur is a fashion icon, someone to be admired.

Excerpt from the magazine above: "The ancient world was devoid of racism. A person's skin if dark was irrelevant. Artwork from ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome show a clear awareness of racial features and skin tone, but there is little evidence that darker skin was seen as a sign of inferiority. When European colonization took over Africa in the 19th century, it was then that Western scholars payed attention to the color of the Nubian's skin, to uncharitable effect"

A personal story: I remember when I was in high school, we'd have a brief cursory glance at Egypt and then we were whisked away to Greece and Rome really quickly; and the chapters on those civilizations were always way more extensive and comprehensive. We we're taught blatantly that Greece and Rome are the blueprint for western civilization, but no one discusses from where the ingredients came that helped flavor there civilizations. We we're shown Roman art, and naturally it was newer (meaning not as ancient) and the pieces were intact and Roman euro centric noses were never hacked off like the much older Egyptian Afro-centric noses. It was drummed into us that the art and the architecture got "better with time and became more technically advanced" with more richer and opulent qualities. Perhaps the Egyptians knew that "less meant more" and they had an architectural tendency which focused more on structural alignments with the stars, re-creating with stunning accuracy the alignment of celestial bodies above by building structures that mirrored them below. I remember feeling pretty shitty as a kid, because Egypt always seemed to excite me, it had intrigue, mystery and allure, but it was never properly explained, examined or fairly judged. It wasn't until years later that I was given an account by my grandfather that helped open my eyes.

Egypt is the oldest withstanding civilization, arguably none of the other civilizations lasted for as long as she did, and every power of this kind has a source, that helps revive it during times of regression. One such regression happened in ancient Egypt and it was halted by a resurgence of culture and by a revisiting of the old ways instituted by "The Nubians" from the south of Egypt. The northern part of Egypt was always more multi-cultural (it still is till this day). Northern Egypt's proximity to other cultures from the Mediterranean and the middle east made the northern part of Egypt more integrated, and the inter-marrying of cultures both strengthened and weakened Egypt sometimes. The North was susceptible to invaders and foreign influences made Egypt stray away from it's own original roots. Whenever this would happen, Egypt would stretch out it's hands for Nubia, and Nubia would trade Gold and other valuable resources with it's Northern brother.

Egypt enjoyed a few thousand years of relative obscurity before she became famous to her neighbors, the desert lands to the south and the seas to the east and north of her helped shield her from many invaders. The Nile River was the wealth of Egypt, it filled her granaries to immeasurable limits, and when the people we're no longer worried about food, a rich and sensible culture emerged. They cared about healing, spirituality and enlightenment. They chartered the stars and traced there trajectory. Pyramid construction was intrinsic to there way of life, in fact there are more pyramids in the southern part of Egypt than in the north. My grandfather told me that the Nubians were always the last line of defense for Egypt, when Egypt lost it's way in the 25th dynasty, it was the Nubians who resurrected pyramid construction when it hadn't been attempted in the north in over 800 years.

You mean to tell me that you could stop doing something for 800 years, the Nubians strengthen and unify the entire country, rid it of invaders, start the building of pyramids that the notherners forgot how to do; and they aren't the original custodians and maintainers of Egyptian culture? The northern and southern part of Egypt was like a relationship between the parent and the child, sometimes the parent leaves the child alone, and sometimes the child comes back and says daddy, mommy, can you show me how you used to do that again! (God rest his soul...for the many lessons he gave me, don't worry grandpa I'm not blind anymore).

My 2 cents about the Music Business and Entertainment Marketing in general

I wear many hats, Im a brand manager, an account executive for a marketing firm, I do artist development and research, I got my break in entertainment by doing logistical site planning for concerts.

I'm immersed in the music industry, I've put countless hundreds of thousands of miles on my car because of it, I've boarded trains and planes in pursuit of musical happiness and I've slept on many studio couches after burning the midnight oil. I'm 32 years old but I'm constantly around young people, I frequent the most viral of blogs and I read the comments of both satisfied and dissatisfied consumers everywhere. I'm constantly learning and I'm always networking and building relationships. The one thing I'm always looking for when I work with people is the "core principles" that will give me a sign that there is a foundation worth building upon, that's number one!

That foundation is your talent...your potential!

I've worked with corporate brands, music artists, designers, practitioners of Yoga and even spiritual advisers, and no matter what there talent is...they've got to want it as bad as I want it for them. You have to understand that you're the head of your business and be as focused on your career as you want me to be. A lot of times people will do deals and expect you to do everything for them. It takes teamwork. So I look for people who have a strong work ethic and are willing to go the extra mile. People approach me often and say "Will you be my manager" and my response is always immediate and I say sure...but what have you managed? And they almost always look at me with a puzzled face!?! lol

I can't manage what you haven't managed yet, if there's something you've built...I can manage it. If your a music artist, do you have a web presence? have you built up a following that requires management? have you performed live? have you booked your own shows? Is your workload so incredibly overwhelming that you need professional assistance?

These are the kinds of people I want to manage and help...

I help people create believability, your act has to have a certain degree of believability already, but I help people buy into it more. In order for this to happen however, there has to be a real strategy behind that act. To break a new musical act, you have to come with two singles and two visuals first to create the definition, to see if people are going to buy into it before you put out an album. You have to come up with a grass-roots marketing campaign to help build the image that surrounds your artistry. All of this is not even possible unless you've established a foot-print for yourself (a mixtape, live shows, web presence, i.e youtube, tumblr, facebook, twitter).

THE NUMBER ONE THING ANY NEW ARTIST MUST DO IS INVEST IN THEMSELVES!!! Don't be ashamed to go out there and get a job, wait tables, bar-tend, drive a taxi...lol...anything that will support your dream, because your going to need a good video director, pay for studio time and mastering, and you'll have to hire a decent graphic designer to do your album art. This is your demo to the world...make it your best effort ever, and when your at this level...THEN you can submit for a manager, a publicist, public relations expert, these people would be more then happy to help you, if that work ethic can be displayed.

And that's my 2 cents for the day...lol

Ethiopia Habtemariam was born on September 24, 1979, and she headed Universal Music Publishing Group as Senior Vice President & Head of Urban Music. She will be taking over Sylvia Rhone's position at Motown Records. That makes her the highest-ranking African-American female (of Ethiopian descent) at a major record label. Motown is a division of Universal Music Group, the World's largest Music company.

She “strongly believed Motown should be youth-driven,” an individual close to the executive told TheWrap. “It’s all about youth. They’re the ones who open the doors.”

How did she get there?

Ms. Habtemariam has signed some of music's biggest superstars, including; multi-platinum recording artist and songwriter Chris Brown, breakthrough artist and songwriter Keri Hilson, gold recording artist and songwriter Ciara. She's steered the careers of BMI Songwriter of the Year and Producer of the Year Polow Da Don, Andre Merrit, Candice Nelson, Balewa Muhammad, Ezekiel Lewis (The Clutch), Rock City, and Brian Kennedy to name a few.

She also oversee’s one of the hottest urban rosters in music — from multi-platinum and GRAMMY award winning acts like Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, Eminem, Jeremih, Amerie, Ashanti, Jill Scott, Prince, Nicole Sherzinger, Ice Cube, Raphael Saadiq, Swizz Beatz, DMX, Asher Roth, Beastie Boys, R.Kelly, Babyface, Keyshia Cole, and many more. She is a native of Atlanta and she began interning at LaFace Records at age 14. So essentially she's an executive from the publishing side of the business being given a very senior role within Universal's corporate structure (she is credited with wooing Justin Bieber into a global publishing deal) business moves like that help you a lot. With her background in music publishing and a sharp focus on discovering hit talent, Habtemariam envisions developing Motown to be a magnet for young trendy stars who appeal to the industry’s core youth audience.

It would be good to see how she and Chairman Barry Weiss work together, hopefully he'll be forward thinking as well, just as he was in the 80's during the maturation stages of Hip Hop when he was keenly aware of what the trends were then. Weiss's resume is well established even now (Britney Spears, Usher, Backstreet Boys, Justin Timberlake, 'N Sync and T-Pain) and now with Ms. Habtemariam steering the ship at Motown, things should be interesting indeed.

Ethiopia Habtemariam: "The labels think they dictate what's hot to the consumer. That's the biggest mistake. You can never underestimate the intelligence of the consumer, especially the youth. I'm not going to mention any specific songs, but there are records that are just hits at radio but don't translate into sales. So you have labels that will chase the charts or what's happening in different areas and then will sign those acts.

But they're not quality acts. That's because artist development doesn't exist anymore. I remember when people knew the names of everyone in a group. Now labels might rely heavily on production companies to give an artist some definition. That's because labels have smaller staffs and so many artists. As such, there's a short list when it comes to the next generation of urban music superstars"

2013: Will Smith and screenwriter Randall Wallace, set to make "The Last Pharaoh"

The Egyptian Pharoah Taharqa: a member of the Nubian dynasty of Egypt, and he was more a ruler over the Kingdom of Kush. His reign can be dated from 690 BC to 664 BC. He was the son of Piye, the Nubian king of Napata who had first conquered Egypt. Mentioned by Greek historian Strabo as one of the greatest military tacticians in the world. He's believed to be Tirhakah, King of Ethiopia, who's mentioned in the Old Testament (noted in the bible in 2 Kings 19:9; and Isaiah 37:9 as Tirhakah) who drove the Assyrian king Sennacherib away from destroying Jerusalem.

Taharqa wasn't just a fighter, he was devoted to peaceful works like restoring temples, and building sanctuaries all over Nubia and Egypt. Nevertheless, his biggest claim to fame is fighting the Assyrians, who invaded Egypt in 677. He didn't exactly defeat them -- they took the city of Memphis and established the 26th dynasty, and Taharqa was driven back to Nubia, where he died in 664.

This movie definitely has the potential of an action packed story because Egypt's history is replete with drama and adventure, but I'm curious as to how it's going to be fleshed out. With screenwriter Randall Wallace (Braveheart) at the helm, I am willing to bet that Taharqa will become a mixture of King Leonidas and William Wallace. The saving of Jerusalem is, I think, the high point of the story and has the most historical relevance ... but I'm sure it will romantically illustrate how he attempted to defend his homeland, and that's reportedly what the film will focus on.

My Conclusion: It will be very interesting to see Will Smith deliver in the history genre and it will have to do better than movies like Troy and Alexander. I will also say what most people won't say...that Will Smith is one of the lightest skinned, socially accepted black actors in Hollywood and he'll play one of the blackest of Pharoahs in Ancient Egypt; so he'll have to go work on his tan, but regardless, I couldn't think of anyone better because Will Smith is the biggest box office draw in the business and a movie of this kind needs his type of commercial appeal, he's black enough to pull if off...lol. Something the movie won't show you is how Historically, it was really the armies of Taharqa's nephew Tantamani who were the ones who briefly wrested control of Egypt from the Assyrians before being driven back to Nubia, making Tantamani, not Taharqa, the last Pharaoh of the Twenty-Fifth Dynasty, but oh well. Another point to bring up is this; President Obama's first term ends on January 20 2013, effectively though on November 4 2012 (if not re-elected). A month before or after the Mayan Doomsday of December 21, 2012. Just around this time is when Will Smith will galvanize the public mind around a black pharoah (symbolically this is Obama) as the last pharoah/president defending the homeland, against the Assyrians (who people will read as being the Arabs, i.e Iran and the Taliban). No one does prescriptive programming like Hollywood lol.

Bulleh Shah: is one of the greatest poets and philosophers of the last 1300 years, equal to Ghalib. He should be made compulsory reading in the schools of Pakistan, India and all other countries, if the world were given these translations in mass, we may then learn to respect each other and put an end to many wars.

This is not legal advice, but this is something I've learned...

Most people are not even remotely aware that you can literally fire the government and become a non-resident existing outside the jurisdiction of municipal, provincial and federal governments.

This is not a new concept, it's a lawful resident status that's called "free man on the land" and it was around at the start of the new world and it can be found in written history when the United States of America declared independence from England and shortly there after lost it when the sovereign man traded his sovereignty for citizenship in the new found British corporation called The UNITED STATES of AMERICA in 1868 ( and it changed by way of Capitis Diminutio Maxima: when a name is in ALL CAPITAL Letters). This happened in Canada to, and just about all common wealth countries. On the other hand, free men have existed on and off for well over a thousand years in England and a long time ago in Germany among other countries.

To obtain this status (in any of the common wealth countries across the globe) you will have to get what's called a Notice of Intent and Understanding, and a Claim of Right. With these documents obtained from a Public Notary; you can essentially deny your consent and revoke registrations, applications and licenses that were forged between "the person" (which you think is you) and the government. Once this is done you will exist free of government control and statutory restraints, in some cases, not without a small struggle and a lot of study.

The house of commons in Canada acknowledging someones Free Man Status!

Keep in mind...that this is a removal from government assistance, programs and services. But...all of these "services" are "benefits" that are given to you in exchange for something else...your rights!!! And your rights are much more lucrative to you in your possession. If the government acts as your fiduciary or guarantor, then you'll always be a peon, a serf or a vassal. Knowing the difference between rights and benefits is the difference between free and bond.

When you receive these benefits, you are essentially looked upon as a child of the state, like a baby you are someone the government needs to take care of, and they take care of you (and every other "citizen") by using a bond certificate which was issued on the day you were born (your birth certificate). This bond certificate number is on the back of your birth certificate (the red numbers on your card) and it's representative of a share in a corporation called "Canada" and it grows in interest. The estimated value of this bond is apx 10 million dollars.

I want to dispell some of the myths about what a Free Man can and cannot enjoy...

In my opinion;

1) Health Care, Freemen still fall under the humanitarian obligation to render aid to all people who are ailing and are sick.

2) They can operate a motor vehicle (so long as it's not for commercial use) they can do so without a registered license and can obtain an alternate form of insurance. Roads are paid for through fuel taxes, which would be paid at the time of fuel purchase, so the freeman pays for the maintenance of roads like everyone else.

3) No Social services or welfare is provided to a freeman.

4) Education is at the cost of the freeman (such as private school) although many of them have been able to exact funds from the bond certificate to pay for there school loans etc.

5) Legal Aid is not available to the Freeman, but many people in middle class society can't qualify for it either lol.

6) Labour relations, Health Inspections, Work Safe environments are Business corporate responsibilities and not the freeman's responsibility. He/She is entitled to these basic rights also.

7) Fire, Police, Water Sanitation/Sewer and other municipal functions are paid for by property tax, If the freeman owns property he would pay through those taxes.

1. Death, Taxes and Broken Promises

They say life's only guarantees are death and taxes. In Canada before 1917, that list was even shorter. Income taxes were imposed as a temporary, last-resort measure to pay for the country's involvement in the First World War. They even came with a promise: the taxes would stop once the government had recouped its costs.

2. A brief history of the RCMP - Royal Canadian Mounted Police

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police have become a powerful symbol of Canada's national justice system, but the institution's current mission has been in place for less than half its life. Originally known as the Royal Northwest Mounted Police, they patrolled the Prairies in search of crime until their future was cast into doubt in the early 20th century. That's when their mandate took a surprising turn. During the First World War, the mounted police were almost disbanded because it was felt there was no more use for them.

It was only at the end of the war when the government became concerned about the rise in radical political activity in the country and the actual fear that there was going to be a Bolshevik revolution that the government decided they needed a secret police force to spy on Canadians. The organization was renamed the RCMP in 1919 and they maintained their spy mandate for decades.

3. Canadian American Relations

Cordial relations with the United States have been a hallmark of Canadian foreign policy for decades, but the relationship between the two neighbours was once openly hostile. American popular culture is rife with depictions of evil redcoats riding roughshod over the country and threatening basic freedoms, so it's hardly surprising that Canadians might forget that they were once an enemy of the States.

British colonies that eventually became Canadian provinces were openly opposed to the American revolution of the late 18th century, and went so far as to launch a major offensive against it from Halifax. British forces were also responsible for the burning of Washington during the war of 1812, including the White House and other major buildings. It's kind of funny that we could be neighbours to the United States and yet somehow have this imaginary dividing line for our history.

4. Canada's National Anthem started out as "O...Quebec?"

The sound of thousands of voices raised in song for "our home and native land" has come to epitomize Canadian patriotism, but it didn't start out that way. "O Canada" was originally written in celebration of Saint-Jean-Baptiste day, Quebec's national holiday. The tune by Calixa Lavallee debuted with patriotic French lyrics in 1880, when it met with middling success. Various English lyrics were penned throughout the 20th century, but it didn't officially become the national anthem until 1967.

Dubai wants to build a Carbon Neutral Pyramid that can House 1 Million people

Every time I hear Obama (or any other American President) talk about how American innovation is the best in the world, how America is the greatest country on the face of the planet, the most free, the most technologically advanced, the most democratic, the most ingenious; I seriously start laughing because those lines would only work on Americans who've never travelled much. Or as George Carlin (R.I.P) said it, it's only called the American dream because you have to be asleep to believe it.

Countries like Dubai (with there Petro dollars ironically) want to build what only the Mayans and Egyptians constructed; incredible feats of architecture able to weather the test of time. A pyramid built to be a city, a metropolis with a carbon-neutral super-structure interlaced with a transportation system that would run vertically and horizontally alleviating any need for cars. They also claim that it will be capable of running completely off the grid by utilizing steam, wind, and other natural resources.

Back in 2008 Dubai-based environmental design firm Timelinks released these eye-catching renderings of the gigantic eco pyramid - aptly named Ziggurat. The ginormous pyramid is expected to cover 2.3 square kilometers and will be able to sustain a “community” of up to 1 million people. Now that's what you call forward thinking, innovation and an advancement in architecture. I can't even imagine the air transfer mechanicals involved with one million in one monolithic building. Let alone the other mechanical systems, sewage etc. with Dubai's weather, in that heat it would take a nuclear powered air conditioner to keep such an installation cool. Where there's money, there's a way!!!

William & Kate visit Canada: THE MONARCHY IS POPULAR AGAIN

A NEW WAVE IN ROYAL MONARCHY POPULARITY LATELY!

The Royal couple (William and Kate) visited Canada recently and made headlines. Even with all the publicity of Quebec’s protesting, every event involving the royal couple went undeterred. The increase in publicity in Prince Williams excursions and activities are becoming an almost daily occurrence. Between the articles on Prince William, Kate and William's mother, Princess Diana, there seems to be an agenda to hype the couple's image in the media.

In his visit to Prince Edward Island, Prince William piloted a helicopter called KING OF THE SEA, and it's called that because it has a hull that makes it amphibious, so it can float on water. I saw some relevance in that because Prince William may in fact become the King if his father Charles abdicates from the position in favor of his son. The words KING "OF THE SEA" were of special note to me because the Common Wealth of Canada is not governed by "common law" (the law of the land) it is instead governed by the Criminal Code and other Canadian legislation, which falls under "admiralty law" (law of the sea).

He is being groomed to be the King of the Sea, he is the eldest among his siblings and the next after his father (in the line of succession to be King). He is to be the future King and he's also "a sovereign individual" over the entire realm known as the common-wealth. Aside from that, there wasn't much else of notable mention to say about this couple and there visit.

A British scientist has become the first human to be infected with a computer virus.

Dr Mark Gasson: a cybernetics expert at the University of Reading, has had a computer chip implanted in his hand. The chip is programmed to open security doors to his lab - and ensure only he is able to switch on and use his mobile phone. But Dr Gasson deliberately infected the chip with a computer virus, which was then automatically transmitted to affect to the lab security system.

"Once the system is infected, anybody accessing the building with their passcard would be infected too," The virus on his chip is benign. But malicious computer code could give criminals access to a building.

Dr Gasson says his experiment also exposes the vulnerability of chips now routinely implanted in patients. Heart pacemakers contain mini-computers that control the heartbeat, and communicate with doctors via a special reader held against the skin. But if a virus was transmitted to the device which stopped it working properly, the consequences for the patient could be fatal.

When Books become Movies: H.G. Wells - The Time Machine

From the book by H.G. Wells, in the heart of Victorian England, an inquisitive gentleman known only as the Time Traveler constructs an elaborate invention that hurtles him hundreds of thousands of years into the future. There he finds himself in the violent center of the ultimate conflict between beings of light and creatures of darkness. Two races, a mild gentle race, and a cannibalistic one living underground. His machine is stolen by the underground race and he must risk being captured (and eaten) to return to his own time.

This 32,000 word story is generally credited with the popularisation of the concept of time travel using a vehicle that allows an operator to travel purposefully and selectively. The term "time machine", coined by Wells, is now universally used to refer to such a vehicle. Wells also introduced the idea of time being the "fourth dimension"

Of course I'm a fan of the book's original cover, the art work is nothing more then a Sphinx with the Egyptian head-dress of nobility, which is indeed a symbol of timelessness for it's actual birth record is unknown to archaeologists and it is dated to be much older then the pyramids of Giza. A line from the book that I enjoyed was: "You must follow me carefully. I shall have to controvert one or two ideas that are almost universally accepted. The geometry, for instance, they taught you at school is founded on a misconception."

He's part of a collective called: Odd Future

Frank Ocean: Every once in a while, an artist comes along and changes the format by daring not to be like the rest of what's playing on the radio, and they venture off into a sound that can still be excepted by the mainstream and the underground alike. One such project is Frank Ocean's Nostalgia, Ultra. Ocean wrote and produced the entire project himself (also impressive). There has been talk on the internet about similarities between him and "The Weeknd" (Abel Tesfaye) and I actually beg to differ, there content and there sound is vast enough to be considered distinct from each other.

I'm a little late listening to this, I've heard his name thrown around a few times before even hearing his music, we live in the viral age. But i refuse to post a mixtape until I've listened to the whole thing twice over. I finally got the chance to listen to this Frank Ocean mixtape, and well I've posted it, so now it's for you to judge.

Most male singers perform music about being the ultimate object of affection, Frank Ocean explores that but goes into how his actions have an effect on the other parties involved. I don't listen to a lot of R&B anymore (not since the 90's anyways) but I like how he bares his real flaws through his craft. Very few singers nowadays can get audiences to understand them as a whole complete person. Nostalgia, Ultra is Epic because it’s boldly unique.

The 100th Monkey Project: A story about social change.

The Japanese monkey, Macaca Fuscata, had been observed in the wild for a period of over 30 years. In 1952, on the island of Koshima, scientists were providing monkeys with sweet potatoes dropped in the sand. The monkey liked the taste of the raw sweet potatoes, but they found the dirt unpleasant.

An 18-month-old female named Imo found she could solve the problem by washing the potatoes in a nearby stream. She taught this trick to her mother. Her playmates also learned this new way and they taught their mothers too.

This cultural innovation was gradually picked up by various monkeys before the eyes of the scientists. Between 1952 and 1958 all the young monkeys learned to wash the sandy sweet potatoes to make them more palatable. Only the adults who imitated their children learned this social improvement. Other adults kept eating the dirty sweet potatoes.

Then something startling took place. In the autumn of 1958, a certain number of Koshima monkeys were washing sweet potatoes -- the exact number is not known. Let us suppose that when the sun rose one morning there were 99 monkeys on Koshima Island who had learned to wash their sweet potatoes. Let's further suppose that later that morning, the hundredth monkey learned to wash potatoes.

THEN IT HAPPENED!

By that evening almost everyone in the tribe was washing sweet potatoes before eating them. The added energy of this hundredth monkey somehow created an ideological breakthrough!

But notice: A most surprising thing observed by these scientists was that the habit of washing sweet potatoes then jumped over the sea...Colonies of monkeys on other islands and the mainland troop of monkeys at Takasakiyama began washing their sweet potatoes.

Thus, when a certain critical number achieves an awareness, this new awareness may be communicated from mind to mind. Although the exact number may vary, this Hundredth Monkey Phenomenon means that when only a limited number of people know of a new way, it may remain the conscious property of these people.

But there is a point at which if only one more person tunes-in to a new awareness, a field is strengthened so that this awareness is picked up by almost everyone!

Bitcoin: is a free market currency, cyber-cash is possibly a future monetary solution

A RUN ON THE BANK is when everyone wants there money at the same time. This happens when it's already too late and the people realize that the value of there money has been devalued (worthless). This happens when the market crashes, consumer confidence plumets and a depression is caused. As things worsen economically during these "recessionary times" I become more and more a fan of free market currencies (or as some people call it 'alternative currency').

To avert the day when another great depression happens; people are creating alternative forms of money that operate outside the reach of "everyday money" and can sometimes become a more popular choice among many in different locales across the country. The money we use everyday is a demonstrably corruptible influence on our society and those who through it's use have positions of power continue to seek, as they always and forever do, the means to endless greed.

There are creative people working on solutions EVERYDAY to help alleviate the problems that the elites have created. By creative people, I don't mean wallstreet, I mean the people who are actively developing "alternative currency". It is sometimes hard for us to imagine just what a truly free market currency might look like. Would it be backed by gold? Silver? Both? Or would the market, driven by the competitive need to provide a safer, more reliable store of value, create an alternative, superior guarantee of trust?

Advocates of a small but fast-growing digital currency network called Bitcoin think they’ve found the answer (or, at the very least, an answer). If it is successful, claim its adherents, this totally-decentralized, peer-to-peer (P2P) currency could supplant the world’s central bank-issued fiat money, potentially providing savvy speculators with an opportunity to cash in on the greatest politically motivated market distortion of our time. But even if this particular currency does not fulfill the hopes and aspirations of its enthusiasts and participants, it has at the very least shown that the free market is ready for the challenge.

Bitcoin: is a limited supply, decentralized digital currency; a free market alternative to state issued notes and coins. Like alot of other Peer-to-Peer (P2P) websites, it's a network of voluntary, free market traders exchanging goods and services across six continents using tens, perhaps hundreds, of thousands of individual computers and some of the most advanced cyber technology and software coding known to date.

There's the Arabs you see (on the news etc) and then there's the Arabs who don't always make the news, but they do make the word "rich" look like too small a word. Wealth has no bounds in Arabian wonderlands like Dubai, where even the mere sight of litter on the ground is not tolerated, the highways and roads in Dubai are immaculate. The Architecture in Dubai is spellbinding and unparalleled. It's wealth like this that paints such a contrast between it and other Arab countries who are not quite as fortunate. One of my favorite Toronto photographers (Photo Will) captures the images quite well, click on the link above to see for yourself.

I used to be a vegetarian, a few years ago, and the lifestyle change lasted for about 7 months. I attempted many times since, trying, failing and trying again. Instinctively I knew that food was what kept us alive longer or checked us out sooner. So like any novice in a field unfamiliar, I struggled, and my discipline with food took me on a journey through extremely restricted diets, marathon fasts and years of studying under natural healers (and not all of them were good teachers).

All of what I had to endure has helped me to NOW see food as medicine. This frame of mind frees me from most food addictions. So I'm not at all tempted when sitting in restaurants with friends eating burgers, steaks or triple chocolate cake. In fact, now I feel as if I'm Neo in the Matrix, as he's walking among the masses who are all doing the same thing, and you'll experience this feeling of "being in the world, but not being of it".

Changing the psychology of a person's relationship with food is very complex. I have observed a highly guarded level of intimacy people often have with food. The mere mention of removing certain foods from their diet is taken with great offense, denial or flat out refusal. Especially if the person is perceivably healthy, I'd understand there resistance to remove favorite foods from there diet...when by all accounts they look amazing.

None are more baffling to me then those who are sick, on medication for the rest of their lives, confined to a bed and still refusing to change their diets, it confounds me. Worse then those people even are the one's in total denial: those who believe that taking these lifetime meds means they've solved there health problem.

On the other side of the spectrum there are those few who walked away from a life-threatening disease by switching to a vegan diet. There are so many success stories. Did you know that after his heart surgery Former President, Bill Clinton became a vegan to improve his health? He's lost weight and looks healthier than he did when he was in office. Check it out for yourself on youtube (Bill Clinton became a vegan).

There is a cure for everything that afflicts us, just know that food is a huge part of it. Just know that there are good teachers and healers who are successfully producing results that would astound you, and know above all that it cannot be done without a transformation of the mind, and a negation of the habits indoctrinated into us almost from birth.

It seems constant to us because over the course of our life times, the course of written history, the whole course of human evolution it hasn't varied all that much, but there was a time when the earth's air was better. The length of man's existence is minuscule compared to the age of the earth. Scientists have proven that oxygen levels in the atmosphere in prehistoric times averaged around 30% to 35%, compared to only 21% today – and that the levels are even less in densely populated, polluted city centres and industrial complexes, perhaps only 15 % or lower (and this decrease has a bad effect on oxygen breathers, exacerbating health issues worldwide).

You can't point out one plant and say it is critical to the 'stability' of oxygen. What is happening is too intimately tied to the carbon dioxide balance, the nitrogen balance and everything else to say "Here, this is the plant that keeps us alive." They all do their fair share and depend on animals and other things to keep the Eco balanced. If one gets lost (goes extinct) something else must replace it fairly quickly or the balance goes out of sync.

This change in the makeup of the air we breathe has potentially serious implications for our health. Around 10,000 years ago, the planet's forest cover was at least twice what it is today, so its safe to assume that forests are now emitting only half the amount of oxygen. Desertification and deforestation are rapidly accelerating this long-term loss of oxygen sources. Our earth's oxygenated enviroment is depleting, the conglomerates of this world are ruining it, but we can take some measure of personal action to help boost our own health.

ONE WORD: Phytonutrients...

Phytonutient (pronounced fight-o-nutrient) literally means plant nutrient.

Phytonutrients are nutrients derived from plant material that have been shown to be necessary for sustaining human life. Phytochemicals are non-nutritive plant chemicals that contain protective, disease-preventing, compounds. Their role in plants is to protect plants from disease, injuries, insects, drought, excessive heat, ultraviolet rays, and poisons or pollutants in the air or soil. They form part of the plants immune system, and in a depleting oxygenated environment it's good for us as well. One such product that I use personally is rich in Phytonutrients and helps replenish many of the depleted areas in people's health today. That product is a food optimizer (that you can make into shakes and smoothies) called "Vega". It works for when I'm on the go in the morning, I put a scoop of Vega and fresh frozen berries in the blender with organic concord grape juice, 2 minutes later I have a Phytonutrient rich meal replacement.

- Encourage healthy weight loss by improving metabolism, increasing the feeling of fullness and controlling blood sugar

VEGGIES I eat: All organic and locally grown
Amaranth greens – same as Callaloo, a variety of Spinach, Avocado, Asparagus, Bell Peppers, Burro Bananna, Chayote - Mexican Squash, Cucumber, Dandelion greens, Garbanzo beans (chick peas) - optional, Izote – cactus flower/ cactus leaf- grows naturally in California, Jicama, Kale, Lettuce - all, except Iceberg, Mushrooms - all, except Shitake, Mustard greens, Nopales – Mexican Cactus, Okra, Olives, Onions, Poke salad - greens, Sea Vegetables - wakame/dulse/arame/hijiki/and nori, Squash, Spinach - use sparingly, String beans, Tomato – cherry and plum only, Tomatillo, Turnip greens, Zucchini.

FRUITS I eat: "no canned or seedless fruits"
Apples, Bananas – the smallest one or the Burro/mid-size original banana, Berries – all varieties - Elderberries in any form – no cranberries, Cantaloupe, Cherries, Currants, Dates, Figs, Grapes - seeded, Limes - key limes preferred with seeds, Mango, Melons - seeded, Orange - Seville or sour preferred, difficult to find, Papayas, Peaches, Pears, Plums, Prunes, Raisins - seeded, Soft Jelly Coconuts - Soursops – from Latin or West Indian markets, Sugar apples - chermoya

An example of how I eat: everything organic (no hybrid or GMO foods)
ELIMINATE all processed foods from your diet...

Breakfast: Muesli-type oat cereal with fresh fruit, blueberries/black berries.
Lunch: A spinach salad with mandarin oranges and almonds.
Dinner: Vegetarian bean chili with a crusty whole grain roll.
Snack: A tall cold glass of real orange, berry, or a banana smoothie.

It's a challenging transition, but it's the cost associated to being better off!!!

Our team here at I AM IN DEMAND and the staff of WHOLE WHEAT BROTHERS MUSIC went exceedingly hard on this project. All independent musical efforts are not possible without the help of the many people who'll believe in you (especially the members of his crew which Sep calls NevR - a statement of defiance against those who would tell him that his music would NevR happen).

Great things we're accomplished and we've got an amazing mixtape (Drops May 29th) and many more videos to show the public. We didn't want DOT CITY to look like your typical Music Video...so there were no fancy rented cars, nothing spent out of our hard earned money to personify a lifestyle that isn't Sep, all we wanted to do was capture the real candid everyday illumination of the downtown Toronto night. Just him and his boys in the broken down Toyota Corolla coasting through the city streets. We wanted images of Sep that would be more cinematic in nature and that was beautifully captured thanks to the directional eye of Andre Rehal and his crew.

Toronto Dollar: President Glen Alan is implementing an alternative currency for Toronto

I frequent a particular bookstore downtown and while I was in there I overheard a conversation taking place between one particular gentlemen and the store owner; and they were talking about an alternative form of currency (another form of money used outside of the Canadian National Dollar known to us as the Loonie lol and it surely is crazy). This particular man was Toronto Dollar president Glen Alan; shown here in the video above; speaking about how we can make Toronto a more sustainable city; this interview also includes author and monetary theorist Thomas H. Greco (via: Skype) who talks about "reinventing money" and the solution to the current economic situation worldwide. It was an honor to meet such a man who is pioneering a grass-roots movement that can help insulate Torontonians from a potential financial crisis and the dependency it can create.

My thoughts: One of the biggest problems with the current economy is the inherent inequity built into the system. We can all create value, but a privileged few can create money, literally from nothing. They use that privilege to control the monetary system and they take value from those who create it. We are moving out of an industrial age economy and into an information age economy. Yet our information technology carries those same inherent power imbalances. Many believe this is necessary, just as they believe it is necessary for a privileged few to control our monetary system. But what if something very different is possible?

We will not have an equitable nor a healthy economy in an information age, until we have information technology which empowers us equitably -- that is decentralized, peer-to-peer and operates by mutual agreement. I couldn't believe it when I heard that someone was doing just that within my own community/city of Toronto, and that the network has grown to a number of 150 cooperating businesses, all of them using an alternative currency, accepted and recognized as valid by all mutual participants. I was amazed that such a program exists here in Canada and that it was already being popularly implemented.

The Toronto Dollar is a local currency that brings businesses, community groups and individuals together by encouraging people to shop locally and reinvest in their community. 10% of every Toronto Dollar purchased goes directly to support local community groups and causes. The Toronto Dollar has generated over $110,000 which have been distributed in over 40 different grants to community groups and charities since it began in 1998.
