Have you ever watched a movie called Zeitgeist?

Zeitgeist The Movie has been watched on YouTube more than 6 million times. Every day 40,000 new people watch this film online, and everyone whose emailed me small clips of the movie say that this film will change my life forever...lol. Well...it did make me think alot, and the movie does a fantastic job of utilizing emotionally charged images and supplanting them with logical arguments. From a marketing background I can assess this a little differently from the average "truth-seeker". I know first hand how reality is often altered through emotion, and not through logic. But irregardless of whether I think the movie is true, half-true, or all marketing genius filled with fluff, the bottom line is simple - this movie will make alot of money (and already is).

Smashing Pumpkins used this word
"Zeitgeist"
on their album cover

The word "Zeitgeist" might sound kinda foriegn to you but that's because it's from the German language and its literally translated as: Zeit, time; Geist, spirit, meaning "the spirit of the age and its society". The word zeitgeist was used and meant to describe the cultural, ethical and political climate of an era or also a trend. This video has alot of content (some of it evokes emotion and could be considered disturbing) and it may be a bit much for some people who are used to the convention and structure of normal movie-viewing. This production is alot more like a documentary and it attempts to cover a wide array of subjects; everything from religion to politics to finance.

But is it a plausible theory?

I am already debating various viewpoints after having just watched the film and I am finding some of what I've seen in the movie refutable...it is not 100% truth. But it engages you, and if your that interested at arriving to the answers you will not be so quick to wanna buy this movie and invite people you know over to watch it. You should become a student of the facts, research, discern, detect, confirm with every official source.

You can start with the movie itself...

And then let's talk about it...

I can't make it more than half an hour into that movie. It's piffle. It asks me to believe that all of the world's economic and religious masters are in secret collusion.

I'm sorry, but no.

1) We've seen how incompetent the Bush Administration has been. Getting them to keep a secret is like trying to carry water in a wicker basket.

2) If it were really a secret being kept by a powerful elite, we would never have heard of this movie.

Sometimes, the simplest explanation really is the true explanation. This world's economic system is built on a house of cards, and there is no organized collusion to keep it that way. It's that no better and more sustainable alternative has arrived.

The movie was a $20,000 production, not bad considering that it's probably already made millions...the conspiracies about the politics of Washington isn't something Id spend alot of time trying to refute or prove true, their crimes are grotesque and the society doesnt vote in contrast to those who do, thats evidence enough that the people dont care about their politicians lol...rather the implicit act of selling a DVD considered to be "the truth" is what I call into question.

The stock market panic of 1907 is worth investigating though...also look into how the federal reserve system isn't in fact a federal institution, that it is in fact a privately owned corporation. Past united states presidents are qouted within this movie, and the federal reserve bank is what controls the nation's currency in circulation and cuts off the printing of money and loans money whenever it sees fit and this causes the cycles we go through as you'd already know...

That's about all I agreed with unequivically...everything else didn't scare me...lol
