According to Will.I.Am, the fuss started at an afterparty Will was DJing at Toronto's Ultra Supper Club. Fergie confronted Perez about his negative take on the new Black Eyed Peas album, The E.N.D. "Fergie then comes to me, very emotional, and that makes me emotional, because that's my sister," Will said on his Dip Dive video. When Will saw Perez outside the club at a second afterparty, he asked him, "Can you not be blatantly rude on your website?" Loud arguing ensued, and Will says a fan got physically aggressive with Perez.
Perez has launched his own defense via fad social networking. "There are multiple witnesses," he tweeted. "You can deny all you want. The truth is the truth and I am telling the truth."
