Her vocal technique showed signs of "Whitney Houston" so you could tell who her romodel was musically...and Brandy herself really was the voice of the young people in her era of R&B music (and she continues to make the kind of music that she likes). Watching these kinds of videos really take me back in time...and every young girl in the 90's sang this song at one point or another (damn those boys who broke your little hearts back then lol). This is a very solid live performance, and try to mirror this to many of the performers that exist nowadays, could they sing their ass off like this on stage? Not likely...
