The Emory Douglas black panther exhibition launched last week at the new museum [on until oct 18]. The show focuses on the graphic work of Emory Douglas, the former minister of culture for the black panther party. His work was issued in most issues of the party’s newspaper and his works have become the iconic representation of its many struggles. On display are an elaborate series of posters, newspapers, and prints dating from 1967–1976.
