The Timelessness of John Coltrane: playing "Alabama"

The John Coltrane Quartet
(John Coltrane, McCoy Tyner, Jimmy Garrison, Elvin Jones) in 1963

One of my favorite jazz pieces by John Coltrane called "Alabama" which when you hear it conveys the mood of the times in the Southern jurisdiction of America (you might remember this as the soundtrack for Spike Lee's movie Malcolm X) it moved me so much that I became a deep admirer of two horns men...John Coltrane and others like Sonny Rollins.
