My Kinda Swagg: Chicago Case Company (my new luggage case of choice)

Lately, I've been in a sort of militaristic vibe, and I've been looking for luggage lately, and of course I've got the duffle bags and the typical carry-ons for air travel like anyone else. I was put on to this company called 'Chicago Case Company' and there cases are made from the same rugged material used in Military Ready shipping cases, a High Density Polyethylene. SUPER DOPE!!!

The Style of people like Dizzy Gillespie; one of many examples of how cool Jazz men were to me, and it's funny how these classic forms of style (which I always said never would die) are coming back now with a vengeance. The Bow Tie...the spectacles, I study and learn from these examples wholeheartedly.

Ever since Rihanna changed her straight long hair look, her style has evolved significantly and she was soon elevated to a style icon status with her Good Girl-Gone Bad persona. The hip-hop princess tapped into the punk rock look, rocking tight denim with hot boots, leather jackets and elongated tees, which quickly became the style anthem of girls everywhere all the way from 08 till now. Rihanna now gets with the rocking Parisian creative collective S2A’s Buckle Ankle Boots. The beloved ankle boots silhouette takes on a tough military/biker vibe and bodes seamlessly with French designer, Jean-Charles de Castlebajac’s newsprint jeans as she exited Hyatt Hotel in Paris (below). A Cue in Style: from the Movie "Class"

Another great style film in the library is the 1983 classic Class. Rob Lowe, Andrew McCarthy and John Cusack wear traditional attire at a pre-Rushmore prep school. Class is filled with great clothing and hilarity. It's worth watching just for the scene at Burberry with a stunning Jacqueline Bisset properly outfitting a young McCarthy.

I consider it the complimentary movie to The Official Preppy Handbook. I'm not going to give away any spoilers even though the film is over 25 years old. Throw it on the netflix que for a rainy day and if you've already seen it, it's worth a re-watch...
