We bring you yet another preview from the DC Life Summer 2009 Collection. The Sector 7 comes in a nice white/tan perforated leather colorway. The Xander comes in a light brown/white colorway. Both are looking very solid and especially the Sector 7 low top is a nice summer sneaker.

DC Sneakers: Remix Series: Mike Shinoda DC Xander

This is the DC Remix Series Project. DC worked with Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda on this Xander high top sneaker. Mike chose traditional Japanese patterns and koi scale textures for his shoe and packaging; the sole features custom fish scale tooling created just for this project and artwork sublimated underneath. The many patterns in the in-box booklet and packaging reference fabrics and origami paper patterns that surrounded Shinoda growing up.

This is a sneak peek at the third collaborative effort as DC X Lemar and Dauley returns after 2 very successful prior collaboration sneakers. New York’s Lemar and Dauley have turned to racquet sports as their new muse.

I like the houndstooth print that appears on this new series as the iconic brand logo and the clear almost see-through soles make it stand out. This particular light moss green is my favorite and it will be available for all on May 1st at select DC Life retailers.
