A FACT: On August 08, 2008 a world event happened, and it was seen as little or nothing more then an attack by one country on another country, but it was much much more then that. The region that was attacked was known as the land of "Gog" from earliest history...but it has a slightly different name today.

The country which was not too long ago attacked by the Russians. Its people happen to have a very rich heritage; and this nation was obscure to most people until now. What alot of people don't know is that during the 12th century, Georgia was the center of an empire that had stretched across the Caucasus region. IT'S HISTORY IS WELL KNOWN TO HISTORIANS, but I'd like to make it more well known to all of you...in a more interesting and revealing way.

THE CONNECTION
The country of Georgia is named after Saint George, the symbolic liberator of Jerusalem during the Crusades. In the year 1120 A.D the Kingdom of Jerusalem officially recognized the Order of Knights Templar at the council of Nablus. That was exactly 888 years ago from this year. If we do some magic math, 1120 + 888 = 2008. The attack by Russia on Georgia broke out in 08/08/2008. I'm usually not as interested in theories that speculate heavily on numerology because it tends to leave me more fascinated than convinced; but you should know that the region where the fighting first broke out in Georgia is 888 miles from the temple mount in Jerusalem in an area called South Ossetia. The fighting in this area continues until now, and it isn't as reported on as before. Georgia's president had recently said that his country has been effectively cut in half with the capture of the main east-west highway near Gori. With this move Russia can now cut off eastern Georgia from the country's western Black Sea coast. Russian troops have driven well beyond South Ossetia and Abkhazia, and they don't appear to be pulling back from what they want. The Interfax news agency says Russian troops in Abkhazia's region have started an operation to push Georgian forces out of the northern Kodori Gorge. So clearly its a full out assault and the United States is expected to react in defence of Georgia, WHAT WILL THAT MEAN FOR THE WORLD?
Bush had this to say:
"I just met with my national security team to discuss the situation in Georgia. I am deeply concerned by reports that Russian troops have moved beyond the zone of conflict, attacked the Georgian town of Gori, and are threatening Georgia's capital of Tiblisi. If these reports are accurate, these Russian actions would represent a dramatic and brutal escalation of the conflict in Georgia,"If this all doesn't matter to you...then the propaganda machine is working just as it should work, keeping the masses blind, deaf and dumb to what's really going on. Haven't you noticed the excessive over-coverage in the news lately about that twit Sarah Palin and her ramblings about a re-run for the white house in 2016, and all the nonsense about her being the future leader of the republican party. And then theres Hillary Clinton and this nonsense about whether her husband is a conflict of interest should she decide to wanna be Secretary of State, Ummm why wasn't Bill just as compromising to her ambitions for President? Like this is stupid news for stupid people...and if that wasn't bad enough you've got the automotive bailout taking all of your attention away from a possible Super-Power showdown - and of course they do the usual congressional song and dance of stalling the legislation for awhile before finally sucking corporate dick, its all a joke people, all of it.
