RAEKWON: HE DID WHAT THE MAJORS ARE FORGETTING, CATER TO YOUR FANS.

First of all...congrats to Raekwon for his album release and debut number of 65,000 units in the first week. You can never really judge an album based on first week numbers, but I have to feel good about my predictions being true. I knew Raekwon would do well with this one after the blogs had leaked a few tracks, and judging from those I got the feeling that it would do good. He went across America, Canada and the U.K before the album hit shelves...went from city to city, getting on the radio and really hitting the pavement hard. He did better then some of the other people who have had hit singles on the billboard for way longer.

Raekwon’s album is dope, it takes me right back to 90’s hip hop. Raekwon didn’t need to make a track about the fact that autotune is wack, he just made an album that reminded us of that fact. Jigga’s album is good as well, so I’m not hating, but Raekwon's album was a better album (to me).
