AKM is a Japanese men’s wear brand that puts focus on craftsmanship rather than branding. It’s carefully constructed items are well thought out and speaks for the brand compared to the current mainstream marketing driven brands. AKM have worked with many leather craftsmen in the past to produce jackets and outers but have since branched out to make other basic pieces.
Now they have extended outside the apparel genre and moved onto make their first collaboration sneaker with New Balance and mita sneakers. The all leather upper is not a surprise at all considering AKM’s brand history and the white and cream color combinati0n emphasize the premium feel of the CM576 sneaker.
