Born in a military hospital in South America, Immortal Technique was brought to the United States in the early 80's while a civil war was breaking out in his native Peru. Now a native of Harlem New York, Immortal Technique has solidified himself as one of America's longest still standing revolutionary MC's in the Rap game. Relevant mainly because he's unsigned to any major record label and makes more money touring independently while he nourishes his ever growing fan base, a testament to the many others who still beg hat in hand to record executives. I also think he's the only rapper to have actually gone to Afghanistan and set up an organization there that helps war torn children affected by the war.
