The American public and the world stood aghast and nothing quite rocked the world like the twin tower debacle of 9/11. Even America's enemies we're taken by surprise, rivaling neighbours like Cuba pledged their support and we're refused. All of normalcy was shattered that morning. I remember being woken up and being told that the first tower had been hit, eyes were glued to the television, pure disbelief - we all felt it, and it was perhaps the most watched hours of television ever.
The plot is still thought to have been commanded by a madman hiding in a cave. Saudi terrorists (not Iraqi's) who couldn't fly smaller planes flew these huge commercial airliners squarely at low altitudes into the twin towers with perfect precision, and they achieved this without getting shot down by fighter jets. These buildings fell into the footprint of their own ash in balls of flame and pulverized dust and yet one of the hijackers passports was found unscathed nearby ground zero. Osama Bin Laden's family we're flown out of the country, and not one member was ever questioned. In fact the president and vice president of the United States themselves did not want to be questioned under oath or tape recorded in their testimonies to the 9/11 commission. You may or may not have swallowed that "9/11 official story" when it hit airwaves.
Some of us were alert enough to shake our heads and say, "Those buildings came down much too fast." Others blocked the disaster from their minds, living life as they thought they had known it. But the scenery had changed. I rarely if ever anymore come across anything "unconventional" as it pertains to 9/11, television has all but buried the probing questions that still permeate till this day...but...but occasionally someone, somewhere on TV has the guts to make certain pronouncements, to invoke plausible theories into the accounts of that very explosive but intriguing day.

I've brought this day in history back up again because it is my contention that the recent Mumbai attacks are being blamed on Pakistan to set the stage for an attack on Pakistan after Barack Obama enters the White House in a few weeks. It now appears that Indian intelligence played a large part in those terrorist attacks. The Associated Press reported recently that a “counterinsurgency police officer who may have been on an undercover mission” was arrested for illegally buying mobile phone cards used by the gunmen.
