TLC Singer and Actress T-Boz


"Was" her house


T-Boz had once sold a home in 2005 for $630,000 after paying $495,000 for it in 1997 - and that was a good flip around, but now TLC singer T-Boz is foreclosing on her current home. Her current house will be auctioned off on the court house steps come this January, so times really are hard. According to public records she defaulted on a $530,000 mortgage, and this is a famous celebrity example of how the sub-prime mortgage crisis is truly everywhere.

Fantasia


"AMERICAN Idol" winner Fantasia Barrino is also one of several famous victims in the financial crunch - her $1.3 million North Carolina home is in foreclosure. Barrino, whose rags-to-riches rise was chronicled in a Lifetime channel movie she starred in herself, is accused of defaulting on a $58,000 loan from a shadowy Florida corporation, according to court papers. The last time I heard of Fantasia; she closed a huge lip gloss endorsement deal, so let this be a lesson...that money comes and money goes...

Mick Vick


Mike Vick is selling his mother's house because he can no longer afford the $4,700.00 a month mortgage. This is from a guy who according to recent bankruptcy filings, spent over $18 million in less than two years.

But it's hard times everywhere...


Homeless people have made signs like these world famous, but even prominent bankers and financial giants have began to resort to this sort of self promotion to receive jobs in a volatile economy, harsh times...
