I'd Live There: An Amazing Papercraft Castle

Via: tokyobling.wordpress.com

This is a castle made entirely of paper.

"I had the immense opportunity to see this wonderful paper craft art installation by a genius of the name of Wataru Itou, a young student of a major art university here in Tokyo. The installation is hand made over four years of hard work, complete with electrical lights and a moving train, all made of paper!"

The Work of Photographer Peter Lippmann: Absolutely Amazing...

Via: Peter Lippmann

The works of Peter Lippmann would be framed and hung in my house, he's just that nice with the lens. His work is beyond impressive and I'd urge anyone who is a fan of photography to check out his site...and enjoy.

Takashi Murakami: Kaikai Kiki Gallery in Tokyo

Takashi Murakami held a showcase recently which revolved around his robotic figure, Inochi. Held at the Kaikai Kiki Gallery in Tokyo, the show was an amazing display of just how comprehensive Murakami’s exhibitions can be. Showcasing his creative prowess and marketing genius, Murakami previewed ads, videos, and artwork, all revolving around his latest work. Aside from the show, Takashi had a run of Inochi figures, hand signed with only 200 produced, halted due to quality control, although the Medicom produced sets could see a release in June 2009 with a price tag of $1,500 a pop.

The Heartbreak Hotel in Paris: blends art with sex...

Click to Enlarge...(Europeans don't play lol)

The Hotel is called “The Heartbreak Hotel ” – this conceptual space blends art with sex. It’s somewhere to make love that you can rent for hours at a time – it's supposed to be an ascension to ecstasy but all done in an arguably artistic way.

So what does it cost? Not much – from €10 to €15 an hour.

Weird huh...let's have sex in this artistic stairway...lol

Artwork: Series called "Ghost in the Machine"

Absolutely cool...

The legendary Jimi Hendrix

In this series an artist showcases a number of portraits of musicians/famous people made out of recycled cassette tape with original cassette. Also included are portraits made from old film and reels like this one below of Marilyn Monroe.
