I AM IN DEMAND.COM: Sean Getti Photo shoot (behind the scenes, with Sep & Brother J)

Via: Photographer Sean Getti

I AM IN DEMAND.COM was in full force today, doing artist development with Brother J (formally of R&B Group TBTBT back in 1993, a Juno Award Winner) who is now working on what will be his newest material to date. Our photo shoot was with photographer Sean Getti and we spent the day shooting at several locations both indoors and outdoors.

Brother J (a singer) is a re-emerging artist whose flight plan of action is totally different from that of Sep (a rapper), working with Sep (pictured below) is like working from an entirely new slate; his work is yet to be known to the world and therefore my efforts with him is all the more a challenge. We shot at various locations with Sep, and I really ended up feeling like we got a good result. Working with Sean Getti was a fluid and professional experience, I'd work with him again.

Concept Art Photography by Hugh Kretschmer. I came across his site and had a look at his awesome concept photographs; and I'd easily define these takes as fine art by photographer Hugh Kretschmer, very cool.

Lego Star Wars - by Mike Stimpson

Via: whitezine.com

I'll be honest...I'm a fan of lego, and a fan of star wars, and I love photography. What do you get when you put them all together? This amazing collection of Lego Star Wars photography by Mike Stimpson. So now I can finally say that I'm not the only one who'd find a project like this cool while it may also be geeky, I don't care...it's dope.

New York based fashion photographer Catherine Servel’s style is so inspirational. At the moment she’s represented by D+V, which also has some other good photographers.

Here’s some of her work:

Photography: by Jason Nocito

Jason Nocito has a portfolio of superstars and artists. What I like with his photography is the way he translates his own style in to the shoots of great personalities like Lil Wayne, Kanye West or Mary Kate Olsen.

Here’s a taste of his work:

Sacha Waldman: Photography on another level

Via: SachaWaldman.com

Don’t call Sacha Waldman a traditionalist. This South African / New York based photographer never took a photography class. He never shot film. Jumping straight into digital, Waldman just tinkered with his images until he found inspiration. “Experimentation is the main thing,” said Waldman. “You create a look that turns you on….and you move from there.” Between Hip-hop, guns, money, celebrity, and creepy kids, Waldman’s imagery is diverse with interesting research that goes into making them ( sometimes it takes him more than a week to create one image).

Photographer Xevi Muntané: A Crash Course in Couture

Via: Xevi Muntane

Xevi Muntané, a native of Barcelona Spain, has shot many amazing editorials for magazines such as Spanish VOGUE, German GQ Style, French Playboy, Dazed and Confused and the list goes on and on. He has also shot many celebrities such as Kylie Minogue, Victoria Beckham, Jada Pinkett Smith and so many more. I think Muntané to be a true artist who brings out the beauty of his subjects with every frame.
