This is from Nike’s Fall 2009 collection: The Air Max 90 Current Huarache. The sneaker comes in black and in red, both tonal on the upper. The Nike Air Max 90 design has lasted for two decades mainly because of it’s classic structure and functional use. The thick sole complete with the air bubble, the iconic Nike swoosh and it’s clean aesthetic made the shoe a canvas for an array of color combinations. For the sneaker’s 20th anniversary Nike has decided to experiment with the materials to give it an unexpected twist to an age old standard. Nike replaces the usual leather material with scaly crocodile and snake skin for an exotic feel.
