Fashion is one of my *hearts* (and yes, I have many hearts/loves). It's been awhile since I've blogged repeatedly and that's because I've been immersed in things more important (and that's not to say that fashion isn't important to me, because fashion is beauty and "fine lines" and intricate craftsmanship, all of the things I love). Although lately I've been studying more about "health and natural living" and I'll be blogging about some of those inspirations in the near future (my computer has had a virus that I'm trying to get rid of...lol).

So in the meantime; I'm gonna share some of my fashionable loves with you...

1. Nike NSW 2010 Fall Apparel

Nike sneakers, sure, but I'm not always the biggest fan when it comes to Nike clothing. This jacket though is bad-ass, and it has that storm-trooper kind of look; laser cut seams, a bonded construction all throughout so you know this jacket will keep you warm and dry. The technical and aesthetic design is what I always look for in my recommendations to you guys, and this is both intricate and fashionably simple. Hit the link above for more pics of this piece.



2. Converse Chuck Taylor Outsider Boot X Woolrich

I can personally testify from last season's line that Converse makes a really dope pair of boots that can look dressy depending on what you wear, and they can be rugged as well if you want them to be. The smooth leather feel, and the laces give it this military kind of look without looking too monstrously huge, with a nice tweed 3 quarter length over coat you can wear these boots and pull off a really cool look.

This Nike CBF Brasil Pique Polo Shirt in White is quite dope.

You will not find it at most Nike retail locations or soccer gear retailers. Instead, only the most consummate soccer shops would have it. Not certain if its popularity circumscribed the supply or the edition was limited to start with. Despite its “hard to find” status, the Pique Polo Shirt is one with well constituted details. The tone-on-tone Nike Swoosh embroidery on the right disappears into the background. Instead, the attention is on the Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (CBF) ‘ 5 Stars (5 World Cup titles) crest in black. The 100% cotton CBF Brasil Pique Polo Shirt in White is now available at selected retailers around the world.

Tiger Woods - New Nike Ad - Emo-Marketing

This is what I call Emo-Marketing...evoked on the heels of what could be regarded as the greatest sports scandal of this decade. The monolith Golf figure known as Tiger Woods (in full Nike regalia) can be seen staring with a sadness into the lens of the camera while you hear his father's voice (with every intention of trying to convey that Tiger's dad is ashamed of his son). The people at Nike are brilliant...

Nike: Holiday 2009 Air Flight Condor

This is very dope...



There's that ever so popular Jordan IV sole again. The Nike Air Flight Condor has been released in a new colorway. The high top comes in a white/grey cement/red colorway, keeping its nice classic appeal intact. The sneaker is now available at 'Wish'.

Nike Sportswear is working with Hiroshi Fujiwara’s fragment design again on a White and Metallic Silver pair of NOISE Terminator High’s. The NOISE collaboration project between Nike Sportswear and fragment design started with apparel, including a number of different t-shirts, and is now being applied to sneakers, notably the Terminator High. A Black and Metallic Silver version of the NOISE Terminator High will be released in Japan in the upcoming weeks

Sneaker Preview: Air Jordan - Spiz’ike - Mars Blackmon Edition

This specific model of Jordan kicks pays homage to Spike specifically with the old school toe locks that say “Mike” and “Spike.” The style of lettering may also refer to the “Love” and “Hate” name rings that Radio Raheem wore in “Do the Right Thing.” Other nods to Spike include the multi-colored lining with Mars Blackmon’s Nike-Ad quote “Do You Know - Do You Know” printed across in a repeated pattern. Featuring some obvious Jordan staples, like the heel elephant print in gray and the Fire Red on the eyelets and sole, this model keeps it simple while giving the well-deserved respect to Spike and his contributions to the Jordan Brand over the years with his icon on the footbed with the phrase “Fresh Since 1985.” The official release date is January 2010, but marqueesole has yet another early release available now.

SBTG & Methamphibian - Custom Sneakers for Source Beijing

The two sneaker customizers, SBTG and Methamphibian who began this whole customizing craze is back with some new projects especially for the opening of the new Source store in Beijing. There are two different projects here that is Damage Inc. and Varsity Bones. Both are totally separate projects which have been prepared for exclusive sale in Source. Damage Inc. is a project by Methamphibian and it crosses over with Methamphibian’s custom 12″ action figure line and will lead to the introduction of new figures in the near future. On the other hand Varsity Bones is the new chapter in SBTG’s collection of Dunks. There are two colorways available in Red Fury (red and black) and Sly Bones (black and purple) which will be produced to only 12 pairs for each model. All of these models will only be sold exclusively at Source in Beijing.

Nike Air Max Light: phylon midsole remade in a sleek black (All Black Everything)

Nike’s latest Air Maxim; the original intended successor of Air Max, the Nike Air Max Light. Air Max Light was first released in the late 1980s and successfully reissued in 2007. This year, the iconic shoe that weighed a lot less than its predecessor with a phylon midsole is remade in a sleek black with grey accents. The well-loved original mesh toe box is kept on the new colorway, set off with max orange accents on the tongue tag, hardware and outsoles.

Israel-based artist ELNA creating for Nike

Israel-based artist ELNA created an impressive commercial for Nike. Blending live action sequences, featuring three pairs of custom Nike Dunk,s with animation and music samples referencing sneaker obsession, ELNA crafted a very original spot. Enjoy!

A.R.C. X Nike - Dunk Hi Supreme TZ

Here’s something for all you sneakerheads to chew on and anticipate this weekend: the A.R.C. (Alife Rivington Club) Nike Dunk Hi Supreme TZ will be dropping this Saturday, Aug 1. This collaboration differs from previous A.R.C. X Nike Air Force 1 with an all black upper accented by a contrasting white Swoosh and white A.R.C. logo seal on the heel panel. The ankle panel and tongue feature the same printed pattern and the tongue features a black and white striped patch. The soles are a utilitarian looking mix of gum colored outsoles and tonal midsoles.

Nike - Air Jordan AJF4 - Fall 2009 Collection

Jordan Brand’s next Fusion shoe will be the AJF 4, a hybrid of the Air Force 1 and Air Jordan IV. Four different colorways will be released during the Fall 2009 Season. All four colorways are inspired by original colorways of the Air Jordan IV including a White, Varsity Red, and Black pair, an Off White, Military Blue, and Neutral Grey pair, a White, Varsity Red, Cement Grey, and Black pair, and lastly a Black, Varsity Red, and Stealth colorway. The AJF4 will retail for $145, and I am soooo getting these.

The Air Jordan Spiz’ike - DOPE!!!

After taking somewhat of a hiatus, the Air Jordan Spiz’ike is back in one of the most classic Jordan colorways of all time. There are a few interesting design changes on this model as well, that bring this Spiz’ike even closer to the original Jordan offerings. Most notably, the “Spike” print on the heel and toe has been replaced with Jordan’s iconic elephant print. Judging by past Spiz’ike releases, this black, grey and red colorway is sure to be extremely popular when it drops.

The shoe is scheduled to release in February 2010, but for those of you who can’t wait osneaker.com claims they will soon have a size run in stock. Stay tuned for a closer look in the coming days.

Nike: The Terminator Hi - Sneaker Fall Collection

The Terminator Hi features a heather grey jersey upper and black taped seams. The Nike logo is printed on the heel and all details come in black. A very solid release.

Another interesting release comes from the Nike Fall 2009 Collection. The Blazer Hi comes swooshless and with a grey suede upper with sections of black patent leather. A large Nike print goes over the side-panel, the tongue comes in nylon and further details come in yellow. The Nike “Swooshless” Blazer Hi is now available...(I like it)

The same Nike execs who were jerking off at their desks in anticipation of a Lebron/Kobe matchup are now on suicide watch in their corner offices. Now that we know that its now the Lake show vs. The Magic’s Manchild and his cronies, everyone seems to be casting their chips in the direction of the West Coast. From Undefeated’s “Orlando Sucks” tees to Lil Wayne’s ode to the “Black Mamba”, nobody seems to be giving the underdogs a shot. Well should we? I mean the Magic only swept the Lakers during the regular season. Whoever wins, this should prove to be a formidable battle, a test of wills, and a good way for me to make rent.
