Hip Hop has never been shy; it's always been defiantly bold and recklessly youthful. It's addressed some of the more less favorable topics of our day. Hip Hop's been homophobic, it's been sympathetic to conspiracy theories, exhibited stages of black militancy and even gross materialistic misogynist lyrics.




And guess what...despite all of that, I love Hip Hop...lol. Maybe because there's a little bit of that in all of us...and depending on your preference you'll pick and chose the Hip Hop that best suits you. For me...it's Lupe Fiasco, Jay Z, Nas, Kanye, and occasionally Wiz Khalifa (and I dont even smoke weed).

Some of my friends are like "heh look he's been inducted into the illuminati because he's winking with 'one eye' open". Regardless of what eye he has open, one thing is for certain...both eyes of the masses remain shut. This idea that the Illuminati and rap have an alliance is a clever marketing scheme that engenders controversy and keeps you all talking. I've witnessed how rappers themselves are playing into the frenzy by using certain images and saying certain things that will infuriate a response from the ultra right wing of religion.

To be honest...who cares what rappers join Masonry.

Nothing done in the secret is worse then what is already happening in the open. North African and the middle eastern regimes are bieng toppled as I write this. The destabilizing of so called rogue governments is but the beginning of things to come, and all you'll find people talking about is whether Wiz Khalifa has his right eye open or his left eye...lol. I think they got us where they want us...lol

No sources that Obama is a Prince Hall Mason, why is Masonry in every conspiracy theory?

It's being reported on several websites that Barack Obama is a 32 degree Mason, which is no small achievement in the Masonic Order, given that many Masons don't go much past the Master Mason degree. Barack is said to be a member of the Prince Hall Masonic Lodge, which I understand is an African American branch of the Masonic Order. Of course that also has lead to internet discussions that suggest he might be a member of the imagined or secret or non-existant "Illuminati."

I have nothing against a good healthy conspiracy theory - if it makes you really think. But to outright believe in unfounded, unsubstantiated claims is ridiculous. The Boogeyman is something that alot of people believe in, this shadow government conspiracy and it's allegations have now found their way to Barack Obama. Blogs and the people commenting in threads and even a few radio stations are openly declaring that Obama is a 32nd degree Prince Hall Freemason. FALSE - Obama has no discernible connections with the Occult, and until now I haven't seen any verified sources for this allegation. And even if Obama was a Mason, it would not be anything that would deem him worthy of Satan. Masonry has been written about extensively. To say that it's a "secret society" is pretty ridiculous in my estimation. Everyone wants to bring up "secret" handshakes and so what. To me, that hardly gives credence to Masonry being a "secret society".

Masonic meetings are not secret. Their buildings are clearly marked with HUGE EMBLEMS ! The meeting dates and times are posted on any of the masonic lodge websites. The rituals can be found on the internet or any second hand bookstore, it all seems pretty open to me. There is only something "secret" about the Masons for those who have never bothered to do the real research. When I heard the allegation that Obama was steeped in Freemasonry, I thought why does masonry have to be mixed into every conspiracy theory that's out there, it borders on silly. I suggest you read Famous Masons who claim Obama is not a Mason.

To be fair, I could find only one source that was viable enough on the conspiracy side of the debate, an older article that cited Obama back in 2007 as having visited a masonic lodge to give a speech while campaigning in Iowa. Click here, it's nothing too incriminating lol.

That's the trouble with the internet...who do you believe?
