Watch the Throne - No Church In The Wild - Jay-Z & Kanye West feat. Frank Ocean

Download: No Church In The Wild - feat. Frank Ocean

[Hook: Frank Ocean]

Human being to the mob
What's a mob to a king? What's a king to a God?
What's a God to a non-believer who don't believe in anything?
Make it out alive, alright, alright, no church in the wild

[Verse 1: Jay-Z]

Tears on the mausoleum floor
Blood stains the Colosseum doors
Lies on the lips of priests
Thanksgiving disguised as a feast
Rolling in Rolls Royce Corniche
Only the doctors got this, I'm hiding from police
Cocaine seats, all white
Like I got the whole thing bleached
Drug dealer chic
I'm wondering if a thug's prayers reach
Is Pious pious cause God loves pious?
Socrates asked whose bias do y'all seek?
All for Plato, screech
I'm out here balling, I know yall hear my sneaks
Jesus was a carpenter, Yeezy laid beats
Hova flow the Holy Ghost, get the hell up out your seats, preach

[Hook]

[Bridge: The-Dream]

I live by you, desire
I stand by you, walk through the fire
Your love is my scripture
Let me into your encryption

[Verse 2: Kanye West]

Coke on her black skin
Make a stripe like a zebra, I call that jungle fever
You will not control the threesome
Just roll the weed up until I get me some
We formed a new religion
No sins as long as there's permission
And deception is the only felony
So never fuck nobody without telling me
Sunglasses and Advil, last night was mad real
Sun coming up, 5 a.m., I wonder if they got cabs still
Thinking about the girl in all leopard
Who was rubbing the wood like Kiki Shepherd
Two tattoos one read "No Apologies"
The other said "Love is Cursed by Monogamy"
It's something that the pastor don't preach
It's something that a teacher can't teach
When we die the money we can't keep
But we probably spend it all cause the pain ain't cheap, preach

[Hook]

Otis - Jay-Z & Kanye West (Video)

Click to Enlarge: What's that on Jay Z's T-shirt?

An Owl? Bohemian Grove? Illuminati? I'm sure the allegations will persist and I think he's real good at messing with everyone's head on purpose lol. Yeah who cares about that...what's really interesting is that Jay-Z and Kanye West are auctioning off the car from the video and donating proceeds to help aid in the East African drought disaster.

RocNation: Jay Elect signs with Jay Z

Rap signings are almost as big as whose gonna play for what team in the NBA, and one of the people who was most anticipated to make his official announcement was Jay Electronica whose alliance with Diddy in the last year fueled speculation that he'd be signing with the Bad Boy Mogul.

Instead Jay Electronica sides with Jay Z's Roc Nation; who made him an 'offer he couldn't refuse". The people at Roc Nation are gearing up for what's going to be a very jam packed 2011 year, with label-mates like Willow Smith, Rapper Wale, projects like Kanye at the helm of producing Jay Z's next album, the debut of J Cole's upcoming album, and now Jay Electronica (who might finally release his song Act II) to name a few.

Bing, the decision engine from Microsoft, launches an interactive game for Jay Z

Via: Bing.decodejay-z.com

In his first book, DECODED, pop culture icon JAY-Z describes the hidden meanings behind some of his most provocative songs and provides a highly personal narrative of the culture that so powerfully shaped his life and art. But some stories are bigger than the printed page. Bing, the decision engine from Microsoft, is launching a multi-platform search experience and interactive game to help people decode JAY-Z’s life and lyrics. JAY-Z’s words will be taken a step further, allowing fans to use Bing and decide how to find the very locations that inspired them.

Misogyny or Fair Criticism: A similar theme from both Jay Z and Jeru the Damaja

I'm sure many of you have heard that Hip Hop is a taught curriculum in some schools; and they reference these songs (below) in hop hop 101 classes whenever discussing Misogyny in Hip Hop. While Hip Hop music itself has been blamed vigorously, these songs below should be understood as frustration from a male-celebrity point of view. Hip Hop certainly didn't invent misogyny, because it's already an unfortunate fixture in the male/female dichotomy of our society, and the music should not be seen as anything more than a magnifying glass on the problem.

Throngs of women (better known as groupies) mask there true intentions portraying themselves as fans; but not to the delusion of these 2 rappers who make scorching indictments of this "class of women". These 2 songs, one by Hova and the other by Jeru are some of the harshest criticisms ever composed in Hip Hop History on this subject.

This particular brand of misogyny is a throwback to a much larger historical back drop in the black community, a problem that persisted from the bowels of slavery and onwards and has constipated an entire community ever since. Some may label that argument a 'cop out' but it's been very thoroughly researched and well documented in the works of many educated people like Dr Francis Cress Welsing and others.

Throwback: Bitches & Sisters by Jay Z

Throwback: Da Bitchez by Jeru Da Damaja

End Note: Many women agree with these indictments, perhaps because they'd like to regard themselves as the latter rather than the former class being debased as "bitches" or they just see the overall debasement of women in general and are appalled by "the bitches" who make it harder for all other "sisters". The societal ailment of misogyny stems from a woeful lack of balance in our society; a balance that isn't being cultivated into our male and female children. The music reinforces the already inherent societal dilemna and at times sheds light on the very ugly relationships that exist between male and female.

Rick Ross feat. Jay-Z - Free Mason

Preview to Rick Ross new track “Free Mason” featuring Jay-Z

Interesting song...and it pervades on the existing viral internet discussion about whether or not Jay Z is a member of secret societies. The song has recieved over 12 thousand downloads via 2Dopeboyz.com alone and that's a reflection (not of Rick Ross) but of how believable all of this illuminati controversy has become.

Jay Electronica performs a tribute to Guru at Bonnaroo last weekend. RIP GURU!!

Random thought: To me...Drake is being groomed to be the next Jay-Z of sorts (and has more to do till he gets there, all the best to him) and Jay Electronica is like the modern day Nas (He's nice like when Nas first started out, his flow is more deeper then most).

Music Videos: The Symbolism is always Invisibly Visible (Do you have the EYE?)

This Video called "on to the next one" by Jay Z was I thought the biggest taunt ever...in that it really played to the hysteria and magnetism that people have with the occult and mysticism and more notably Masonic inferences.

Jay Z has said in an Interview wherein Angie Martinez asks him...

Angie: "you antagonizing it (these images you see in videos these days) takes it to a whole other level" and his response was...

JAY Z: "well...that's just the comic in me, it's humor, it's funny to me".

To those of you who read my blog, what do you make of these images in Videos nowadays, how do you feel about artists who seem to think that it's funny that people are becoming alarmed and disturbed by what there seeing? Do you think there making light of it because there's nothing to really be concerned about, or do you think there trivializing it because that's how you defuse an ever-growing populace of people who are becoming aware?

This is possibly the most in-depth analysis of Jay-Z's use of occult imagery to date...I've watched other videos and they bore me and insult my intelligence; but this clip from a series on Youtube called "Illuminati Symbolism In The Music Industry" was very decent.

Let Rihanna conclude by saying...lol

I AGREE: Hova gives us his take on why "we are the world" shouldnt have been Redone

I have a interesting take on that,” Jay-Z said Saturday at the annual “2 Kings” dinner, which was sponsored by Sprite and Bing and took place during NBA All-Star weekend. “I know everybody is gonna take this wrong: ‘We Are the World,’ I love it, and I understand the point and think it’s great. But I think ‘We Are the World’ is like [Michael Jackson's] ‘Thriller’ to me. I don’t ever wanna see it touched. I’m a fan of music. I know the plight and everything that’s going on in Haiti. I applaud the efforts: [Millions have been raised] through text [donations] to Haiti. So I appreciate the efforts and everything, but ‘We are the World’ is [musically] untouchable like ‘Thriller’ is untouchable. Some things are just untouchable. It was a valiant effort, but for me, it’s gonna be untouchable.”

Jay Z co-signs the New Blood, Lupe Fiasco: The next big thing in Hip Hop (I've always known)

Via: rapradar.com

Jay predicts that it will be a Cowboys-Jets Super Bowl (I personally don't think the Jets will make it lol). More TM 103 talk. Trey’s future plans. Jay touches on "prestigous clubs" and how his being from the Marcy Projects doesn't enable him that kinda access (I think it's been a long time since then, your on Oprah for god sakes lol). He talks about Beanie Siegal beef. The New Blood: Drake, Lupe and also Jay likes the song entitled “Exhibit C” by Jay Electronica.

My Favorite Music Video (right now) Jay Z - "On To The Next One"

The OFFICIAL video for "On To The Next One" for Jay-Z | by Swizz Beatz. This video in my opinion was well done, amazingly beautiful imagery, although a bit disturbing at times, eerily chilling in some shots where I'm sure that was the intended purpose. Is it just me...or is Jay Z getting a bit darker with the black magic and gothic dark ages type shit?

Whose this fucker? lol
