None are as blind as those who refuse to see...

I suppose it's always easier to just let others frame the issues for you while they repeat them over and over again...UNTIL YOU BELIEVE THEM, rather then exert the effort yourself and find out on your own. There has been a widely uncontested claim that Barack Obama is all talk and "short on substance"

- A little effort on your part may dis-abuse you of that notion.

HERE'S WHAT YOU DO:

Take a quick trip over to Obama's website. Click on the "Issues" tab, and have a look. You will find detailed positions and proposals on two dozen issues. If you want the Cliffs Notes version, read the 33-page "Blueprint for America." You can agree or disagree with the positions, but I think anyone who bothers to read it will come away knowing specifically where the candidate stands and how he proposes to deal with the issues. Perhaps then we can actually up the conversation to a more intelligent and productive level by debating the REAL issues.

There are things about Obama you can attack him for...and then there's crap like the stuff I pointed to above that's just plain stupid. I'll continue to point it all out for what it really is...whether for him or against him at times, the truth is the truth...and when I think the media is acting an ass...I'm gonna tear that ass a new asshole. For the record: I didn't like Obama's stance on New York City's Sean Bell Murder Verdict, I was shocked and appalled by Obama's political posturing - I was like "Negro that could have been your child gunned down by lawless police officers" that was one moment where for me...Obama was spineless, and so was Hillary surprisingly seeing that it was in her state, and at that time they were both in the Primiaries battling each other. It was viewed by me as yet again another wasted opportunity by both candidates to win black votes, as we'd say here in Toronto...that was absolutely WUTLESS (worthless).

Another thing I didnt like...was Obama's pick of Joe Biden...yea yea yea...people say he's got the experience...but to be honest...I would have preferred Caroline Kennedy, she's a woman...and she's a Kennedy...Obama-Kennedy...that would have been a killer ticket if we were talking politics. Biden...I youtubed this guy...pathetic comments...shoot from the mouth type senator...and what's funny is they have the nerve to label Obama as arrogent in the news media...and Joe Biden would be what then compared to Obama? lol

I cant help but feel as if some people see Obama in this light:

Despite my criticism of him...honestly...I want him to make it through today's convention speech without getting killed. Politically he is a superman...he has leaped from some of the highest obstacles unscathed, but in the world of superman there was always a Lex Luthor (radical racists) who might want to take a high powered rifle and John Kennedy him...I mean what scares me to...is all of these similarities to Kennedy that the media keeps making...DAMN....that's not the one they wanna be comparing Obama to.

Hope you make it through brotha, 80,000 seats in those stands...sigh!
