Disko Dave: I wanted to pay tribute to my filipino roots so I sample from filipino records here & there. This one's more grimey with an underground feel so it's jansport ready LOL. An emcee I used to work with used to say I was like a filipino premo so he used to always call me filipremo. Salute to my Better Beat bredren Antagonist for lacing me with the sample! i've been diggin' for filipino records for a hot minute, so to all my pinoys, if your mom or pops got any, tell auntie or uncle to get at me! haha!
