This is a beat I made, it is intended for use...and it will narrate differently from the original Sade Jezebel song, it will be entitled "Black Athena" and instead of it being about a lady who sells her services, I see my version being about a female's beauty.
--- Another version I found that you might like...

I've tried my hand at producing before, I've made a few singles for artists that I've believed in; but now I'm doing the musical project that I've wanted to do for a long time. A beat CD entitled "My Drunken Universe", and it's going to feature artists from around the world. This beat below is only a snippet, it contains a sample from a french song: Charles Aznavour - Comme ils disent, and a scene from the movie "The Notebook".
The project's theme will be about how LOVE intoxicates and it's many facets, from both male and female rappers who will feature on the project. I'm open to offers from artists who might be interested in the project. Email me at: Productindemand@gmail.com

Human being to the mob
What's a mob to a king? What's a king to a God?
What's a God to a non-believer who don't believe in anything?
Make it out alive, alright, alright, no church in the wild
[Verse 1: Jay-Z]
Tears on the mausoleum floor
Blood stains the Colosseum doors
Lies on the lips of priests
Thanksgiving disguised as a feast
Rolling in Rolls Royce Corniche
Only the doctors got this, I'm hiding from police
Cocaine seats, all white
Like I got the whole thing bleached
Drug dealer chic
I'm wondering if a thug's prayers reach
Is Pious pious cause God loves pious?
Socrates asked whose bias do y'all seek?
All for Plato, screech
I'm out here balling, I know yall hear my sneaks
Jesus was a carpenter, Yeezy laid beats
Hova flow the Holy Ghost, get the hell up out your seats, preach
[Hook]
[Bridge: The-Dream]
I live by you, desire
I stand by you, walk through the fire
Your love is my scripture
Let me into your encryption
[Verse 2: Kanye West]
Coke on her black skin
Make a stripe like a zebra, I call that jungle fever
You will not control the threesome
Just roll the weed up until I get me some
We formed a new religion
No sins as long as there's permission
And deception is the only felony
So never fuck nobody without telling me
Sunglasses and Advil, last night was mad real
Sun coming up, 5 a.m., I wonder if they got cabs still
Thinking about the girl in all leopard
Who was rubbing the wood like Kiki Shepherd
Two tattoos one read "No Apologies"
The other said "Love is Cursed by Monogamy"
It's something that the pastor don't preach
It's something that a teacher can't teach
When we die the money we can't keep
But we probably spend it all cause the pain ain't cheap, preach
[Hook]

A Video of Ryan Leslie creating the instrumental & hook for Red Cafe's new single "Fly Together" which is to feature Ryan Leslie & Rick Ross. When he's playing on the piano you see Ryan wearing black diamond bracelets...as if his production wasn't enough, his style points is 100,000 watts of Swagg! No one does promo vids like Ryan's team...period!
(I take cues every time)

I sampled Miles Davis "Summertime" (1958; above) in true Hip Hop Fashion and made a Jazz Hip Hop Fusion Beat and laced vocals by Malcolm X at the end of the composition, because in my opinion Miles Davis is the Jazz version of Malcolm X in spirit.
Frank Ocean: Every once in a while, an artist comes along and changes the format by daring not to be like the rest of what's playing on the radio, and they venture off into a sound that can still be excepted by the mainstream and the underground alike. One such project is Frank Ocean's Nostalgia, Ultra. Ocean wrote and produced the entire project himself (also impressive). There has been talk on the internet about similarities between him and "The Weeknd" (Abel Tesfaye) and I actually beg to differ, there content and there sound is vast enough to be considered distinct from each other.
I'm a little late listening to this, I've heard his name thrown around a few times before even hearing his music, we live in the viral age. But i refuse to post a mixtape until I've listened to the whole thing twice over. I finally got the chance to listen to this Frank Ocean mixtape, and well I've posted it, so now it's for you to judge.
Most male singers perform music about being the ultimate object of affection, Frank Ocean explores that but goes into how his actions have an effect on the other parties involved. I don't listen to a lot of R&B anymore (not since the 90's anyways) but I like how he bares his real flaws through his craft. Very few singers nowadays can get audiences to understand them as a whole complete person. Nostalgia, Ultra is Epic because it’s boldly unique.
Nasty Nas, leaks his first single from his upcoming album Life Is Good. Nas went in on this track, regardless of the subject matter, MCing requires a lot of creativity and in my view, poetically he delivered.
He was ON POINT!!!
Download the song below, which was produced by Salaam Remi.
"Late night, candle light, fiend with diesel in his needle, queensbridge leader, no equal, I come from the wheel of Ezekial, to pop thousand dollar bottles of scotch, smoke pot, and heal the people"

I chose to post this video because A) it's a really decent song, and B) I'm really impressed by the cinematic standard that they chose for this video. This group is a duality that was captured well by Director Warren Credo, in a manner that wasn't typical of most hip hop music videos nowadays. The scenery, film locations were impeccably chosen well, the story board was solid and something of this visual quality doesn't even have to be that expensive to produce. This was a breath of fresh air for independent music and I'm proud of my city (Toronto) that is making good calculated decisions when it comes to the marketing of our artists. Kudos to there management!!!

Elmatic by Elzhi, comes out May 10th, and the project will conduct a track-by-track interpretation of NaS' classic debut, Illmatic. The most striking difference between the two LPs is the production; a six-piece band will provide organic instrumental takes on Illmatic's original beats. I've been listening to Elzhi's version of "Halftime" and already you can hear the subtle differences in the sound, from the bass line to the heavier drums.
Elzhi's flow, recalls that of NaS' classic verses while giving it its own Elzhi approach. For some time I've regarded Elzhi as Slum Village's greatest lyricist (though they were all good) Elzhi was to me "the Gza" of the group, the most prolific and eloquent. The accompanying video for this cut will drop this Wednesday (May 4th).
My Homie, the undeniably talented Kim Davis; from her debuted mix tape Live, Love, Learn. Kim shoots a video to this song with Director Naphtali who brings you the official video for “It Can’t Be Over”. I'm always happy to see Kim do her thing.

Shout out of the Day! Goes to my homie @Safiya Oni, and this track is entitled 'The Moment' which is to be featured on her upcoming release Acoustic Therapy Vol.1 which already sounds like it's gonna have an organic feel to it, and while it's still in it's conceptualizing stages, what she has allowed to leak shows promise and a real rawness that I think listeners would appreciate. The Guitar melody is played by Zel G.
