Five talented young basketball players from Akron, Ohio star in this remarkable true-life coming of age story about friendship and loyalty in the face of great adversity. Coached by a charismatic but inexperienced player’s father, and led by future NBA superstar LeBron James, the “Fab Five’s” improbable seven-year journey leads them from a decrepit inner-city gym to the doorstep of a national high school championship. Along the way, the close-knit team is repeatedly tested—both on and off the court—as James’ exploding worldwide celebrity threatens to destroy everything they’ve set out to achieve together. More Than A Game combines a series of unforgettable one-on-one interviews with rare news footage, never-before-seen home videos, and personal family photographs to bring this heart-wrenching and wholly American story to life.

T-Mobile Dumps Charles Barkley

Just as I said they would...corporations like T-Mobile dumped Charles Barkley from their 'Fav 5' ad campaign because of his recent DUI arrest.

T-Mobile says: “Given the recent developments, for the time being, we’ve replaced TV ads featuring Mr. Barkley with more general-market advertising. As he works through his personal matters, we will evaluate where to go from here.”
The intrinsic value contained within a popular person's marketed name is priceless, once tarnished it's hard to instill consumer confidence again in the personality selling the product, credibility is everything...

Charles Barkley - Let's see how funny his wife thinks this is
This ranks right up there with Mel Gibson's druken jewish gaffe

Charles was trying to start the new year on a high note, but it was a new low. Mr Barkley got pulled over for driving under the influence last night, and he told the cops the reason he ran a stop sign was because he was in a hurry to get a blow job from his passenger.
He said: "I was gonna drive around the corner and get a blow job. He then explained that she had given him a 'blow job' one week earlier and said it was the best one he had ever had in his life."
The question that always gets asked of the women who are married to these kinds of men is: WILL SHE STAY? and guess what...they usually all do, fame and the money keep these women quiet...so mainly its the poor dudes who get divorced (so maybe he'll do what Kobe did and buy his wife something glittery - either way he'll be shelling out the money). He'll have to hire some driver to drive him around for a year (more money), because they slap heavy fines and driving restrictions on people for DUI's. I'm sure since the Don Imus incident, television stations have stifer morality clauses in contracts, binding people to a certain measure of good conduct.
Barkley may have to kiss those commentary jobs goodbye...
for the best blow job of his life, hope it was worth it!
All the money in the world can't buy common sense, and if the blow-job was that good, then fine - get yours after the cops give you a ticket, but to broadcast your business like that...damn fool.
Charles did say it though...lol
