Surviving the Economic Downturn, in case you haven't noticed, were in a drought, so let's UNITE!

One of the keys to surviving the economic downturn is to join forces, create partnerships, and begin working together. In a hip-hop culture, hipster targeted niche blog industry, it’s sometimes very difficult to reach and impact the numbers of readers we would like too if were just “one blog armies”. It’s also financially difficult to expand and improve upon our web offerings if we don’t make the necessary capital to cover the cost of expansion. This is especially difficult during tough economic times, as ad revenue slows and the amount of web properties (ad inventory) increases. That’s why working collectively with other blogs within a similar genre allows each blog to feed off the other blog’s successes. This is the aim and objective for I AM IN DEMAND.COM, because if my partners aren't in demand, then neither am I.

You've probably seen us blog about one of our main partners in our strategic approach to bring (Torontonians in particular) a step closer into a fashion realm that hasn't yet reached critical mass because it purposely doesn't sell to the clone (mall shopping) population of people. There is a new generation of alternative people who understand their context within the greater society and they are no longer interested in showcasing any one particular brand when expressing themselves fashionably.

I AM IN DEMAND.COM reaches out to those people through our affiliate store called 'Multi' in Kensington Market, Toronto-Canada. In 2009 there will be some changes to this blog and MORE PARTNERSHIPS that will only give you the blog-viewer MORE options and MORE information about what's really happening in the world of trend-setting and creative lifestyles. The brands WE carry are not accesible brands within the populace of hip hop fashion stores that are out there, if it isn't anything but EXCLUSIVE then we don't want to showcase it.

I AM IN DEMAND.COM endeavours to keep up to date on the most elaborate trends within music, fashion and politics through interesting topics, photographs and video content that will be updated on a daily basis. Our site will also list the latest stories from other network sites at the bottom of each blog entry thus allowing users to stay current on the latest network topics. Our aim is not to become too mainstream, but to stay relatively close to the culture that inspires the creativity within us. Themes along those lines can be seen in the things we update you with concerning our affiliate store 'Multi'.

EVERYBODY IS BLOGGIN NOW

Heh everybody, cyberspace is the truest democratic forum. Youtube, Facebook and Myspace have shown us how the people can change the way information is fed, transmitted and excepted. I've heard it said that you should Blog or Die...so Fuck it...I'm plugged in...and while here...you'll be getting to know what some of my prespectives are on things like Music, the Media, Fashion, the occasional political spew, etc etc. My career industry is Product Placement for Music Artists...Entertainment Marketing, Endorsement dealing and negotiating, sponsorship and branding...so...from time to time I"ll be talking about my little adventures in that world where they cut me cheques LOL.

MY REASON FOR BLOGGING...

This era is undoubtably the age of Obama, and such a candidate opting for such an office could not have been made possible without what has been currently going on in the world. We are living in the age of better informed masses, and we are living in the age of self made millionaires and trend setters. One of the trends of our day is BLOGGING...so I to have joined the ranks within the blogging revolution and have removed myself from behind the scenes, and I am shifting my voice to the forefront of where things are happening in the world, CYBERSPACE.

Barack Obama is the best black "viable" presidential candidate in America history...and I would have never thought it possible in my lifetime...heh, I still know alot of people who STILL think it just won't happen...lol...and I've met the one's who are all of a sudden die hard Obama fans - and that shift is due to his beating Hillary, so all of a sudden its safe to say now that he's got a shot...ride the fence type motherfuckers...lol...the world is full of them. No matter what your personal opinions are of him...you've gotta honestly say that's some shit, the sheer energy that this guy creates in people's conversations, hmm...it's gonna be a very interesting year, and I'll be watching this very interesting candidate closely.

Aside from that...were living in a time where 8 dollars a gallon will make buying a Music CD equivalent to 2 gallons of gas...if faced with that choice, people will opt for the gas...and this shows us that disposable income is decreasing.

Russia is in the news alot lately...and RUSSIA is acting like, well...RUSSIA again...lol - Invading a small neigboring country called Georgia.

When I think of Russia, it reminds me of DRAGO beatin up on Rocky lol

Before you start saying that I am a victim of the American propaganda machine for congering up such an image, you should get to know what very few people are picking up on in this conflict against Georgia...it's essentially no different then what Saddam Hussien did rushing into Kuwait...the aftermath of that action is what caused the ongoing IRAQI conflict today...are we to witness yet another military power invading another smaller country for...OIL?

On a lighter note...I've been working with Singer, Actress and Model Anaya Hayes...

Our team has been developing her viablity for cross over market success in the music industry, and she is destined for great things, she is a joy and a pleasure to work with. Their are alot of young aspiring women in music and modelling, I come across quite a few of them...but Anaya is really the epitome of "hustler" the new age artist of today wears many hats, and her business IQ is sufficient in stature to get her a record deal, its really what you know sometimes to, not just who you know.

Anyway...I shall Blog again...sometime soon.

Thanks for coming through.
