Gucci’s Frida Giannini worked with Mark Ronson on this flash sneaker store concept as of this October 2009. Together with Mark Ronson, Gucci worked on limited edition Gucci Ronson sneakers. The collection overall consists of 16 men’s styles and 2 women’s styles, with each sneaker coming with a special Gucci silver or gold metal dog tag. Customers initials can be engraved onto customized leather tags on the laces. On top of the special make-up and packaging, each Gucci Ronson sneaker will come with a 12-inch vinyl record with tracks selected by Mark Ronson.

The first Gucci Icon-Temporary store will debut at Crosby Street in New York City on October 23rd, with Frida Giannini and Mark Ronson attending the kick-off party. I love ladies who have a mean shoe game: Louboutin, Louis Vuitton, and Gucci

You girls gotta tell me if i'm in line with current trends that are doing it in the fashion world right now. Metallics are very popular this Fall season! Shimmer and shine were doing it in the fall 2009 season for both evening and daywear. I love women who go for all out Glam, sporting something along the line of what I'm showing here would drive me crazy...lol...the right metallic dress or suit with just a lil shimmer on your fingernails could make all the difference when your getting your outfits together!

Marketing 101: Street punk meets high fashion, what do you guys think of this fusion?

Whoever is still saying "punk" is dead surely isn’t in tune with the many Spring 2009 collections that have paraded down the fashion catwalks in many fashion capitals. The style once associated with outcasts and freaks has infiltrated high fashion this season. Designers like Chanel and Givenchy are replacing class for trash infused elegance in their present collections by showcasing edgy trends that you’d think they snagged right out of Siouxie Sioux’s closet in the eighties. Things like clear and patent leather platforms, black leather dress shirts and shredded denim stake their just place on the runways of Paris, Prague and Milan among others.

Remember Punk Legend Siouxie Sioux from the Eighties?

The resurrection of that eighties era is being spawned by generation-X designers who have taken it upon themselves to go to the next level. You are seeing more and more barely-knitted tights that border upon disintegration from Rodarte and shredded tees by Jeremy Laing that are so effortlessly cool that Sid Vicious is turning in his grave with envy. Even evening wear from Balmain (the likes of Beyonce and Victoria Beckham) are adopting the street punk influence in the form of luxuriously ironic, torn and mangled lace dresses with shoulder pads (yes, Christophe Decarnin totally went there), bringing massively broad shoulders back with a vengeance.

From a Rodarte Fashion Show

Designer Jeremy Laing

Balmain: Christophe Decarnin

Footwear by Christian Louboutin and Gucci adorned their collections with strategically placed spikes and metal studs, giving elegance to a very punk inspired look that I feel pulls in an older generation while at the same time infusing the image with a modernity that refreshes it for public affirmation. My final words to those who want to embrace this trend: less is definitely more. Nothing says fashion overkill like dressing head-to-toe in a single style. Instead, I'd mix-and-match one statement piece like ripped jeans or a leather jacket with simple basics you probably already have in your closet for a balanced look. I am seriously contemplating a hybrid of this image-trend for an artist that I'm working with, I'd like advice and comments from anyone who reads this blog.

This vintage Gucci watch is a classic staple timepiece!

Via: Fashionably Yours.ca

This vintage Gucci watch is a classic timepiece and it caught my attention (I guess it's my fascination with watches that have an antique ambience, and this Gucci look is very sophisticated and grown up). I'm thinking of how this watch's leather band can be customized to renew it even further and make it look even phresher, the red stripe down the middle is Gucci all the way.

Below is another vintage Gucci Timepiece - with 10 different colored rings of interchangable faces to choose from! High-fashion items like these are made available at lower prices.

NEW: GUCCI HI-TOPS - very phresh sneaker...

These are the NEW GUCCI HI-TOPS, IN STORES NOW. I’m really liking the white colorways, and I'm undecided with the black ones, but they're both very simple and phresh.

Face the apocalypse in style LOL

Designer Name: Diddo Velema

When the mushroom clouds start blooming — designer Diddo Velema, with Gucci and Louis Vuitton, will have us wearing gas masks made from the finest materials and studded with diamonds, I thought this was hilarious but it was creatively funny.

Diddo Velema's gas masks were part of the Luxury Show 2008 in Bucharest, Romania, and you probably can't get your hands on one unless you are very rich.

My Favorite one...

Nothing like breathing in that new Luis Vuitton smell...lol
