Unfortunately this album is leaked and I heard it (and it was deemed super dope by me, although I wont paste the link for where you can get it cause the feds kill websites nowadays lol). Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang is the up-coming fifth studio album by American rapper and Wu-Tang Clan member Raekwon, scheduled to be released on March 8, 2011.
Confirmed guests for the album include Black Thought, Busta Rhymes, Ghostface Killah, GZA, Inspectah Deck, Lloyd Banks, Method Man, Mobb Deep, Nas, and Rick Ross, among others. If you find the download for the leaked album, listen to it and then buy the project, there was at least 6 tracks on there that were system booming.

Raekwon joins one of my favorite Producers 'Alchemist' and 'Oh No' on the title track from their collaboration album; entitled - Gangrene (everytime I hear that word it's gross to me...lol).
Labeled as one of the greatest classics in Hip Hop PERIOD!!!
Raekwon the Chef’s solo effort “Only Built 4 Cuban Linx…” still sounds as fresh as it did back in 1995. Enormous wordplay and grimey beats were all a true Hip Hop fan could ask for. Rejoice - a digitized version of Rae’s promotional cassette hits the internet.
First of all...congrats to Raekwon for his album release and debut number of 65,000 units in the first week. You can never really judge an album based on first week numbers, but I have to feel good about my predictions being true. I knew Raekwon would do well with this one after the blogs had leaked a few tracks, and judging from those I got the feeling that it would do good. He went across America, Canada and the U.K before the album hit shelves...went from city to city, getting on the radio and really hitting the pavement hard. He did better then some of the other people who have had hit singles on the billboard for way longer.
Raekwon’s album is dope, it takes me right back to 90’s hip hop. Raekwon didn’t need to make a track about the fact that autotune is wack, he just made an album that reminded us of that fact. Jigga’s album is good as well, so I’m not hating, but Raekwon's album was a better album (to me).
The Chef lets you in on the trials and tribulations surrounding the long awaited, often delayed new album, Only Built For Cuban Linx 2. Rae also admits he made this album for the people, because that’s what they asked for.
Do yourself (and hip hop) a favor and cop OB4CL2 this Tuesday (September 8th).
The music video for “24K Rap” off of J. Dilla’s latest release, Jay Stay Paid has been released. This is the first time NYC legends Havoc and Raekwon have ever been in a video together, so why not film it at Alife Rivington Club?! Store manager Jesse Villaneuva makes an appearance as the hostage, while several products like Mr. Cartoon’s LIVESTRONG Air Force 1s – make cameos. Check it out!
“City of God’s Son” is an experimental hip-hop opera starring Nas, Jay Z, Ghostface, Biggie Smalls, Raekwon, Samuel Jackson, Delroy Lindo, and Laurence Fishburne. It is a crime drama/coming of age tale of three fictitious characters growing up in a crime ridden city. This project explores the icon of the gangster in modern media, and weaves musical history and gangster film history into an operatic music based story of brotherhood and survival. A homage to 90’s New York hip-hop, “City of God’s Son” is the redefinition of the remix. Featuring legendary soul singer Joe Bataan.
City Of God's Son: is a blend of multiple media and art genres and it explores new grounds for unconventional storytelling and ultimately gives rise to what (Kenzo Hakuta, it's creator) terms the world's first "Beat Cinematic". Kenzo arrived at this term by combining various mediums including 3D audio, multiple musical genres, and sound bites. His aim is to create his own cross-medium ensemble cast, and out of many mediums, to create something epic and new.
This is Raekwon's press conference for in London. In part 1, he talks about personal changes. In part 2, he talks about Dr.Dre/Detox, and Sales expectations. In part 3, he talks about J Dilla, Busta's friendship and Elton John. In the final part, he talks about Wu-Tang.
