Apparently the video below is from Theophilus London's (3rd Mixtape) entitled "I Want You" and I'm only on to his music now (but I like it). I like the whole Chelsea Hotel vibe in the video and the 60's experimental somber moods.
Theophilus London's flow has a darkness to it that restlessly examines alot of subject matter. His project has that L.A Electro-funk and UK indie sound that I also think is very dope right now. Take in the Video...
Labeled as one of the greatest classics in Hip Hop PERIOD!!!
Raekwon the Chef’s solo effort “Only Built 4 Cuban Linx…” still sounds as fresh as it did back in 1995. Enormous wordplay and grimey beats were all a true Hip Hop fan could ask for. Rejoice - a digitized version of Rae’s promotional cassette hits the internet.
Behind the Scenes of the 1st shoot, from a sky rise Balcony in downtown Toronto. An Artist in the making...

He's a Prodigy of I AM IN DEMAND.Com and Whole Wheat Brothers Music. This is a view of me on deck as I observe the workings on set, one of the locations was near Dundas Square in Downtown Toronto. We got metric tons of brilliant footage to be edited and I'm hoping my blog readers love this authentic sounding Hip Hop Video (the beat produced by I AM IN DEMAND.COM).
Looking over the drawings (because every proper video has a storyline) and these were some of the depictions that were sketched by the Direction Crew. Working with Director Andre Rehal was a pleasure and a learning experience.

This was on (Day 3) of 'Sep's Video "Dot City" in the broken down Toyota Corolla as stated in the actual song itself...so he's showing you his humble beginnings before you can see his eventual growth as it is right now! Watching Sep's humility while on set was a reminder to me of just how sincere I found him to be as a lyricist, this guy always keeps it 100% real!!!

Director Andre Rehal and his crew took shots from the hood of the car & then they took shots from the side with another kind of Cam, always changing the lens for different kinds of wide views. If you look closely (the picture below) at the display screen attached to the camera you can see a shot captured of 'Sep' wearing his hat while in the back seat...lol.

Needless to say...it was long hours...sometimes repetitive, but overall enjoyable, because nothing feels better then the feeling of accomplishment. And after each of the shoots on each of the 3 days we'd all go out like one big family and have a celebratory dinner (Mozel Tov), excited about creating another piece of what will be Toronto's legend.
Everyone whose plugged into the nostalgia of underground hip hop has heard of JAY ELECTRONICA and his tracks entitled "Exhibit A and Exhibit C" - songs that have been co-signed by some of the biggest heavyweights in Rap, proclaiming them among the other gems created with producer 'Just Blaze' as "straight classics". Instrumentals to these classic songs have been leaked and I must say that there are a lot of rappers making (EXHIBIT B.S) out of what are really dope songs by the original artist.
But every now and then there comes along a version that might catch your ear, and one such version heralds from Toronto, Canada, spawned by the lyrical mind bending genius of a rapper named SEP, who comes in on the second verse; after the feature of another talented up and coming rapper from Toronto named Ashton Martin. Needless to say I was thoroughly impressed, and I had to sign this brotha to my management company right away...and he's now I AM IN DEMAND.Com affiliated.
Every Tuesday - Free before 9:00pm @ Where Else Pub & Lounge - and that's at 3351 Ellesmere Road in Toronto; there's a premier weekly showcase called Roc Da Mic. Below there is a snippet of a performance by Sep at Roc Da Mic where 'Sep' won the competition and has been deemed Artist of the Week.
This is not the first time I've heard talk of an Apple media download kiosk (and yes, I'm a nerd who'd know about these kinds of things lol), nor does it seem any more plausible this time around that they'll actually do it, but who knows? According to patent docs dredged up by Apple Insider and dating back to the halcyon days of late 2007, the company has certainly put some thought into this, detailing a wireless iTunes station that would allow users to access the iTunes store on the go, using a "virtual physical connection" to the player. As for the kiosk, it would both access media stored locally (perennial faves and new releases) and the rest of the iTunes store over its Internet connection, with users ponying up by either providing their iTunes account credentials or by credit card. Not a bad idea, eh? Well, I won't hold my breath.
