Kris Van Assche had unmistakably integrated his distinct penchant for elegant urban into Dior Homme’s Fall/Winter 2009 season without compromising the label’s signature sleek, classy style. The Fall/Winter Collection, also known as “Angles”, had pulled together nicely into a season of well made and innovative tailored items.



This faded striped button down from the collection puts a fresh urban twist on a luxury label. The shirt features contrasting stripes on sleeves and chest, but all stripes fade into a crisp and clean white. Street met couture somewhere in the gradient fading; this shirt will not only carry well from the office to the happy hour, but also dazzle in both. This shirt along with other pieces from the “Angles” collection are now available.

Jeremy Scott’s latest collaboration release with adidas Originals is a remix of last season’s funky animal prints and a new tune singing “one world, one love”. While some of the hoodies from this season feature leopard spots flanking altruistic preachings of “Global Love”, and some others reminding us of tribal cultures with totem pole faces and masks, the Map Sweater Dress stands out from the collection with a form fitting girly silhouette and large print of the world.



This long sleeved sweater dress features the world map flattened out onto a tee in bright colors, and can be worn as both a dress and a long t-shirt. This dress makes us want to break into KT Kunstall’s “Suddenly I See”, except, this time it is her body that is the map of the world. Here’s something for all you sneakerheads to chew on and anticipate this weekend: the A.R.C. (Alife Rivington Club) Nike Dunk Hi Supreme TZ will be dropping this Saturday, Aug 1. This collaboration differs from previous A.R.C. X Nike Air Force 1 with an all black upper accented by a contrasting white Swoosh and white A.R.C. logo seal on the heel panel. The ankle panel and tongue feature the same printed pattern and the tongue features a black and white striped patch. The soles are a utilitarian looking mix of gum colored outsoles and tonal midsoles.

DC Life Admiral High: The Hotel On Rivington Collabs with DC Shoes

The partnership between trendy New York hotel, The Hotel on Rivington, and DC Shoes continues this summer as the hotel attendees receive a new set of footwear for the season.

The all red DC Shoes Admiral High, the 3rd edition from the Rivington x DC collaboration, features a perfect mix of suede, mesh, leather, and perforated leather. All in a eye-catching red palette. It serves as a part of DC Shoes’ DC Life initiative, a collection that offers special editions and exclusive materials + construction. The Hotel On Rivington x DC Shoes Admiral High will also be available at selected retailers in the coming weeks, along with DC Flagship Stores and online shop.

Casio x Atmos Tokyo x G-Shock: DW-5600VT Watch

Just a little over a decade ago, G-Shock, the utilitarian timepiece by Casio begin to appear in the most unlikely places – like the narrow streets of Harajuku, Tokyo. Today, it’s the semi-official watch of urban culture, a must have accessory for urbanities of Tokyo and beyond.



This is the 3rd collaboration model between sneaker boutique Atmos Tokyo and Casio G-Shock, it marks the return to “basic” with a simple all white façade. Wrist band features have embossed stars, each laser-etched, in a tone-on-tone color process. Based on the popular DW-5600 model, Atmos Tokyo x Casio G-Shock offers the same functionalities people come to expect from a G-Shock, including shock resistance, water-proof etc… In addition, a specially designed white polka-dot/pink watch face, plus a LCD screen and EL backlight etched with atmos’ “A” logo in Gothic font.





This is a very limited collaboration model and it will go on sale early next month, and it's sure to be a big watch with the ladies who can dress it down sometimes.
