For Fall/Winter 2009 Stussy once again worked with Afdicegear on a couple of products. This season they present a new collaborative technical jacket and some gloves. The jacket comes with a Gore-Tex shell. Both the jacket and the gloves will be released on September 19th.

The Martin Margiela low top trainer comes as part of his Fall/Winter 2009 Collection in an all-over velvet version. Not only the sneaker upper, but also the mid-sole, outer sole and the laces are entirely covered in velvet, resulting in an overall very interesting look.

An interesting design popped up in Creative Recreation’s new Italian Collection for Fall 09. The LA-based footwear company has incorporated an innovative removable upper zipper design which allowed the wearer to convert his hi-top into a boat shoe sneaker and vice versa. Other than an added functionality, the collection stays classy in a basic color palette of black, white and browns, with premium leather upper of different treatments. These kicks from the Italian Collection are due to drop in August at BLENDS.

Marking their Fall 2009 season, adidas present a preview into their fashion-geared SLVR sub label, which represents the middle ground between their Originals range and the more high end Y-3 line from Yohji Yamamoto. The upcoming SLVR selections find themselves within a spectrum of flattering cuts and a well rounded variety of Fall color tones.

H&M: Fall 2009 High Top Sneakers

If you want an affordable option to upgrade your Fall outfits with a simple, yet well designed high top sneaker, you can check out this new H&M sneaker. The upper comesin all black, featuring leather, patent leather and canvas. The waxed laces are a nice finish. You can expect these to go for around 50 USD, at the same time you should not expect the best construction though, so these would be sum good looking "beater shoes".

Frillr brings some great looks from backstage at the Hugo Boss Autumn/Winter 2009 Runway show. I'm not sure about the 2009 line as yet given the pictures I've seen, but it looks kinda interesting.

3Sixteen: the 09 collection - a very compelling brand!

We love their stuff, 3Sixteen is where I'm new york shopping when I get there very soon. The Harlem renaissance backdrop of music, the angles and the video directing of these 2009 fashion previews were compelling. The whole ambiance of the fashion pieces put to the music reminded me of a civil rights 1950's college clean image. Stark-crisp and clean, these are fashion looks from a brand we hope to see more of...

Louis Vuitton: Mens Fall 2009

Brands are playing to their strengths and Louis Vuitton is no different. Marc Jacobs and Paul Helbers, their men’s wear studio directors, are putting accessories and luxury travel front and center. Describing this quiet collection as “the traveling wardrobe of an African King, adapting his taste for a trip to Paris,”



Paul Helbers opted for tailoring which was more French than African. Military jackets in antelope leather or alligator were faintly reminiscent of the tribal theme. A slate blue cashmere coat was elegantly belted at the waist while a double-breasted velvet jacket was worn with vivid red sneakers designed by Kanye West. Hoodies, scarves and knit hats added a sporty edge to many looks. But no European safari is complete without luggage and the Vuitton man won’t be traveling lightly.
