Chateau de Moissac - 17th century architecture of the finest craftsmanship

The Chateau de Moissac

The Chateau de Moissac in the village of Moissac-Bellevue is a property that I fell in love with, because it exudes something that is so regal, elegant and timeless even if it's architecture is steeped in the traditional designs of 17th century France. The sheer magic of space and secret hiding places thoughout bedrooms and drawing-rooms would for me be an endless fascination. The estate has terraces and ponds extended by soothing landscapes as far as the eye can see.

It was for me a refuge of ancient stone, looking at these photos propelled me to another time period. It was easy to be captivated by it's theatrical backdrop, with its majestic flight of stairs and it's vast drawing-rooms and dining-rooms opening out to the gardens. It's imposing kitchen, it's bedrooms and bathrooms extending upwards to the attics. The building was rewarded for its exemplary restoration in June 2008 by the "Prix des Vieilles Maisons Françaises" sponsored by Emile Garcin.

On the Edge of Singapore: $6 billion - Marina Bay Sands Skypark hotel

Via: designboom.com

55 storeys up, this infinity pool could glide you straight over the edge of Singapore, if not the world. It's part of the $6 billion Marina Bay Sands Skypark hotel, which just opened this week. The pool itself is three times the length of an Olympic-sized pool, and is the largest pool in the world at that height reportedly.

Another world record has been broken, with the hotel also becoming the most expensive hotel—knocking Abu Dhabi's Emirates Palace Hotel off it's pedestal, which cost $3 billion to build back in 2004. The pool runs across three of the hotel's towers, which feature indoor canals, casinos, shops, theaters and a museum. As well as the hotel rooms you'd expect. Don't expect to be staying here on your next visit to Singapore though, as entrance to the casino alone costs $70.

Music Video - Harvey Stripes Featuring Jay Vado - Material Girl (Anaya Hayes as lead Girl)

Via: igotstripes.com

Music Artist, Actress and Model Anaya Hayes features as the lead girl (her role) in Harvey Stripes video featuring Jay Vado entitled "Material Girl" (where she acts like the kind of girl who'd like you for your dough...while in reality she's an undercover agent). I thought this to be a pretty solid video (as far as independent videos go) and the music production by Beat Merchant and the hook by Jay Vado make for a very catchy song.

Don King selling his home...300 feet of ocean lol

Don King put his ocean front estate in Manalapan Florida up for grabs, saying that at his age (77 yrs) it's time to downsize. The compound sits on 3 acres and includes a main house and a guest house spread out over 32,000 square feet. The property comes with an 8ft replica of the Statue of Liberty in the front yard, 11 bedrooms and 17 bathrooms, 300 feet of waterfront on both sides and two resort-style pools, each with enough space for up to 80 people. There’s a 10-foot drop to the beach with automatic stairs that let you down when you’re on the sand, and lifts you back up when you’re at the house so that no one can come up from the ocean. Plus it has a generator plant for hurricanes. There's also an outdoor grill by one of the pools big enough for 100 slabs of ribs. King paid 13 million for the two lots in 1999 and is now asking for 27 million - that's a Nice Flip.

Let's see if the intrinsic value of his name helps to sell his house for his asking price...

Do you envision greatness? You should already see it...

These are the homes of affluent society and I was never born into money or influence, but I strive towards a better living and a better outcome. These images as grand as they may be are not outside of the scope of my imagination and I perceive them as possible realities with the right game plan, it can be achievable by me. No ceiling stops my ascension to greatness...I am on my way...and you need but only believe in yourself and think your plan through. All great actions are preceded by great thoughts...all of the world's greatest moments were once only great ideas. The architects who built these monuments were themselves thinkers of a grand idea just like me. Believe...Believe...and never stop believing.

There's no furniture in this house (yet) lol
