These photos are an example of how garden space and parking space can work well together. It's a unique design to deal with the loss of front garden areas to car parking space in urban environments.

The docking pad lowers (my car) and blends in with the garden


The minimalist contemporary garden provides ample space to park your vehicle underneath it, but also helps in maintaining the exterior aesthetics of your dwelling, very cool.

Let's see that again...lol




When you really think about it...it can be 2 parking spaces, above and below.

I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to things like architecture, I can be found sometimes just zoning out, staring at the way columns and ceilings are built, examining beautifully made structures, and I frequent a few magazines and websites that delve into the subject from time to time.

I came across the career of architect John Lautner (1911-1994) and eventhough his work spanned for more than six decades, he is little known outside the architecture world. His buildings have starred in movies like “Diamonds are Forever” and “Charlie’s Angels.”





I like his stuff because it always seems to detail something of Man’s relationship to nature and the universe. These kinds of things intrigued Lautner and informed his designs, from coffee shops to plans for endless cities. Unfolding from the hills, nestled in canyons, or hovering above city skylines, Lautner’s residential projects have had influence on some of today’s most important architects — Frank Gehry, Zaha Hadid and Rem Koolhaas

Do you envision greatness? You should already see it...

These are the homes of affluent society and I was never born into money or influence, but I strive towards a better living and a better outcome. These images as grand as they may be are not outside of the scope of my imagination and I perceive them as possible realities with the right game plan, it can be achievable by me. No ceiling stops my ascension to greatness...I am on my way...and you need but only believe in yourself and think your plan through. All great actions are preceded by great thoughts...all of the world's greatest moments were once only great ideas. The architects who built these monuments were themselves thinkers of a grand idea just like me. Believe...Believe...and never stop believing.

The Pooch Palace - A $475,000 dog house

I might wanna get a dog one day...but Jeez!!!

This Dog-house is designed by British architect Andy Ramos, and this residence will shelter a pair of Great Danes belonging to a surgeon, whose own luxurious house is being constructed nearby.



A three-room dog house (two bedrooms and a lounge) outfitted with temperature-controlled sheepskin beds, a spa, an expensive hi-fi system, and a 52-inch plasma television set (because dogs watch TV). A retina scan at the entrance will enable the owner to keep out dogs who might try to pay unauthorized visits. Closed-circuit TV cameras will provide the owner with round-the-clock surveillance of the dogs' comings and goings between their house and their adventure playground.

If you think there is nothing wrong with constructing a dog house for half a million dollars, I certainly could never convince you otherwise. Below are some examples of Dog-houses I thought were fly enough for me and my budget...lol
