Former President Bill Clinton at a fundraising event: and Drake performs...
Bill Clinton: "A lot of you when your raising your children; you wanna believe they'll be able to live there dreams, that's gonna be shaped by the decisions that are made in the next 2 or 3 years in America. We cannot afford to go through the horrible ten year long decade of stagnation that our friends in Japan had to endure because there real estate collapsed at the beginning of the 1990's. We got to get this country moving again...we cant afford to have California go through what it's going through..."

Drake and English centerback Rio Ferdinand of Manchester United
Canadian rapper Drake was a recent visitor to one of the world’s perennial football club favorites Manchester United, as he took the opportunity to meet and greet with English centerback Rio Ferdinand. The two conversed over the parallels of each other’s business as entertainers as well as a mutual admiration for one another’s trade.

Fashion: DBK - Designs by Katiya (versatility, and elegant materials)
Via: dbkcollection.blogspot.com
These bracelets were custom made when I got them recently; designed by DBK "Designs by Katiya". The jewelry line is a celebrity favourite and started out with a few custom pieces (now worn by the likes of Model Amber Rose and Hip Hop's A-Listers like Drake). Katiya Shirin Babakhani is a style aficionado whose collection pieces embody a quality and luxury made from materials like silver, gold, bronze, organic wood, recycled wood and gemstones such as jasper, black onyx, lava rock, natural corals and turquoise.
The ones I'm wearing are from a new collection not yet released. Toronto Representatives like me get it first; big up to the homie Katiya for keeping me accessorized like a ROCKSTAR!!!

Friday Night Lights Mixtape: J. Cole & Drizzy - In The Morning”
When Bosses Meet...
J. Cole & Drizzy connect for a cut off J Cole's “Friday Night Lights” mixtape that’s available now. This song "In the Morning" was Produced by L&X Music and a notable mention is Drake's voice that literally sounds as if he had gotten up in the morning to record to this, his voice sounded raspy and gave it the morning effect.
Shout out to my homie Tara who was involved in the promotions and marketing of J cole's mixtape, and congrats to J Cole breaking the mixtape download barrier, at one point it was something like 4 thousand downloads a second...that's amazing.
Collabo: J. Cole & Drizzy - In The Morning
Shouts to 2DopeBoyz for the heads up.

"Toronto, Canada is the hip-hop capital of the world"
"Toronto, Canada is the hip-hop capital of the world."
This statement was tweeted by producer 9th Wonder via his Twitter feed after he had experienced the city’s vibrant hip-hop scene at the Manifesto festival in September. Whether you agree or not, it’s undeniably clear that for several years now, Toronto has been virtually overflowing with hip-hop talent; and like the surge of Southern influence in Hip Hop...many are dubbing it now the time when the North will take over. Toronto hasn't always received widespread and sustained commercial success musically, but it has endured till this point where now! finally! people are starting to take notice.
Many in Drake's generation have undoubtedly given Aubrey the credit with having at least opened that door a little more. As it is with all doors...they don't just open for those who've wanted to come in, but they've also opened allowing others to get out...and one such person is Producer 9th Wonder. Out of America and into Canada...and why not...since they've already collaborated before on a track called "Think good thoughts" - feat. Phonte & Elzhi (Produced by 9th Wonder). I personally would like to see more of this sort of American/Canadian interloping of talents, I think it can help bolster both sides of the border.

Down Memory Lane: Drake performs "City is Mine"
I'm reminded of how everyone starts somewhere when I look at footage like this. This is a clip from footage that we had filmed back in the day around 2007 I think...When Drake was still mostly local to us Torontonians. Performing in smaller venues amidst the realer fans who would come out to see Toronto Talent. Your craft will always take awhile before it can eventually materialize...but eventually...if you work hard enough...and you got a good team...it can happen for you!
Drake performs "City is Mine"
Whose this?
Another Toronto Talent named 'Sep'

Jay Electronica performs a tribute to Guru at Bonnaroo last weekend. RIP GURU!!
Random thought: To me...Drake is being groomed to be the next Jay-Z of sorts (and has more to do till he gets there, all the best to him) and Jay Electronica is like the modern day Nas (He's nice like when Nas first started out, his flow is more deeper then most).
