In Ancient Egypt royalty had their names encircled with a "cartouche." The cartouche is an oval-like shape which is supposed to represent a rope folded and tied at one end. The cartouche is found on several Egyptian objects; however it is most frequently found on pendants in modern days. The cartouche is used as a sort of amulet to protect the wearer from evil. To wear the cartouche is symbolic of the wearers "glory."
Lupe Fiasco who has been releasing various music via the internet over the past few months has given his fans a Thanksgiving treat with his new highly anticipated mixtape, Enemy of the State: A Love Story, which features eleven new Lupe tracks, some of which use beats from today’s biggest hip-hop artists such as Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, and The Clipse. Lupe has also announced via his Twitter that he will be releasing a follow up mixtape on Christmas Day.

Converse has made an All Star Hi - and this one is largely affiliated with Hip-Hop artist Lupe Fiasco. The shoe features a clean patent leather upper with hints of red, and I like it alot.
This shirt is pretty old...I first saw it a few years ago at another jam somewhere, but it re-surfaced again when I saw it worn by Lupe Fiasco on his blog...
