Adidas launches a synthetic suede and leather sneaker in this black, green and red classic design. To me the colors were kinda revolutionary in a Marcus Garvey kinda way lol. Look for these around July 2010.

NEW INDUSTRY STANDARD: Adidas enters into the Augmented Reality phenomenon

Taking on the now industry standard concept in the games field of augmented reality, Adidas has created a virtual 3-D world that can be accessed using a future line of five men’s sneakers. Users need to visit the adidas site and hold up their sneaker to their webcam; and the shoe will feature a code implanted in the tongue which will allow a virtual world to pop up and be navigated through, using the sneaker itself. Adidas will continue the project and present three games (one based on music, one on star wars and the other is a skating game) each developed by xForm. The shoes with the augmented reality codes will cost between $65 and $95 and will be available starting February.

Adidas originals‘ five-two-3 brand pack project is a collab with five distinct global lifestyle brands on five of its iconic sneaker models: superstar, stan smith, samba, nizza and forum. Behold the samba stone island, a classic shoe that has been given a modern stone island makeover, looks classic doesn't it?

The brand applied ‘reverse colour process’, corroding specific areas of colour, applied to rubberised satin. Applying this process to the fabric causes the three unmistakable adidas stripes to appear. An asymmetrical zip has replaced the traditional laces, which opens to reveal a dual branded tongue beneath. The samba stone island is available in light grey from august at selected stores across the planet whereas the blue version will also be available at the stone island flagship stores [milan + london].
