Jon Stewart Vs Pat O'Reilly - Pat's Generation (people who think like him) need to die off

I like how Jon Stewart went in. Jon Stewart makes Malcolm X look like Bryant Gumble lol. This generation of hard line journalists (like Pat O'Reilly) who think they can scare "the modern day black man into behaving as he once did, scared and timid of white supremacist hierarchical thinking, had to go up against another white man whose thinking is not of that generation and in the end he said "Booyah" in his face.

This idea that Rapper Common appearing at the white house in some way besmirches the sanctity of a house where assassinations of heads of state were ordered, where governments and nations have been bombed at the executive order of many presidents; this notion on the part of Pat O'Reilly is absurd.

Jon Stewart: "Why are you drawing the line at Common? there is a selective outrage machine here at Fox that petty-fogs only when it suits the narrative that suits them. This guy is in the cross hairs in a way that he shouldn't be, whether you agree with him or not and you may think he's ignorant in believing that Assata Shakur is innocent, or that Mumia is innocent, but then guess what...Bono can't go to the White House, Springsteen can't go to the White House, Bob Dylan can't go to the White House...you'll have a lot of people who aren't allowed to go to the White House because they've written songs about people convicted of murder"

50 Cent: Says company overbilled him for mansion repairs

Via: Miami Herald

HARTFORD, Conn. — Rapper 50 Cent said Tuesday that he never would have bought a Connecticut mansion once owned by boxer Mike Tyson had he realized it would require millions in repairs and renovations. The entertainer, whose real name is Curtis James Jackson III, testified in Hartford Superior Court as part of his lawsuit against BVH Integrated Services, a Bloomfield, Conn.-based engineering firm. 50 Cent testified that his attorneys hired the firm to inspect the 52-room, 48,000-square-foot-plus mansion in Farmington, Conn., in 2003 before he bought it from Tyson’s ex-wife. The company was to make a visual inspection to determine how much it would cost to repair the roof, decks, driveway and other aspects of the property.

“I thought it was necessary because I didn’t know what damages or what it would take to keep the house uptight and up to speed,” the rapper testified. He said the mansion was the first house he bought.

The company’s estimate was for about $500,000, but 50 Cent spent about $6 million on repairs and renovations. Lawyers said about $3 million of that was spent on maintenance repairs that should have been included in the firm’s estimate, and the rest was spent on additional “betterment and improvements.”

They Say: Beyonce Spent 11 grand in one swoop.

Apparently Beyonce went shopping at Patricia Fields the other day, and she spent $11,000.00 in just 20 minutes. I say so what...I almost spent that much in FIVE minutes at a Car dealership once...lol. Why do people gossip about this kind of stuff? (Admittingly...I posted it for the viral internet traffic it would generate for my blog...lol). But I'm very much against Rich-people bashing...lol.

Drake Talks about being 'Young Money' affiliated, Kanye, & Ghostwriting for Weezy

Aubrey “Drake” Graham

The Toronto-bred rapper who gained fame by playing basketball star Jimmy Brooks on the teen TV show Degrassi: The Next Generation has no intentions of fabricating his past. Complex.com caught up with Drake right before he left to celebrate the release of his mix-tape with LeBron James.

The part that caught my attention was this...

Complex: So you really feel like you have the entire city behind you?

Drake: There’s been a certain surge of excitement around my city (Toronto), it’s just crazy man, everything is just overwhelming. One thing I will say is that with a guy like Kardinal or a guy like Socrates, [who’ve] been around for 10 years, maybe more…a lot of people will tell me, “I’ve never seen a city really support anyone like this before.” And Toronto, they say, is the Screwface capital. They say it’s the city of hate, we’ve never really had that icon, someone where we can say, That’s our hometown hero. I’m not saying that I am that guy yet, but I think that I’m well on my way.
